Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Hong Kong Island

We had a wonderful stay at John’s place, the location is so beautiful and close to the beach. The rooftop has nice sea and Mountain Views. The place itself is also spacious and has lots of natural light coming in.

If you like to be outside the city, then stay here! Spaciousness and serenity that is hard to find in HK. Be prepared to cook some of your own meals because local eating options are limited. There is plenty to explore on Lantau Island. And fresh air! Highly recommended!!

Want to give my endorsement for Alex's place. It is a larger place, by Hong Kong standards, and that's good for families. There are two full baths plus one additional toilet. The master suite is big with a good desk with monitor. Everyone needs to take their work with them these days, and that was a plus for me. Big living room with JUMBO flat screen. We brought our console and played video games "life sized"! Cold airconditioning for the hottest days this summer I'm sure. A little girls room and a boys room, again good for family stay. The beach behind is good for kids with a warm shallow baywater, no big waves... playground on the beach. The plaza nearby has everything needed, grocery store, restaurants, bars, MickyD's. Note to those familiar with Discovery Bay, the plaza is undergoing a long term renovation. You are going to find "old" restaurants gone and new ones in different spots. And there is a trampoline in the backyard! Easy check in/out. Also ice rink in plaza.

The place is a bit difficult to find especially when it is dark(a long gravel path and somewhere no street lamps), the village is very rural. The equipment is enough with the large garden with roof and a high pressure hose because I brought a bicycle there; you must need to burn mosquito coils doing something outside. Faye was not there during my stay so I could use the whole floor myself. When the check-in, her mother introduced me to the house and her brother helped me sometimes. And her replies were very fast and helpful!

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. Jean-Pierre and Dora are extremely proactive in making us feel welcome and were super helpful with whatever we needed. Their helper Charie is the warmest person you could ever ask for to greet you after a long journey. She is both available and discrete. The pictures on the listing do not do the house and the view justice. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Mark‘s place. The children made use of all the facilities and surrounding areas. Mark‘s dog was very friendly and we had a delicious barbecue in the courtyard. A big thank you to Mark for his insightful knowledge, logistical support with transport, local amenities and luggage!

lovely house and kind host who is responsive to questions and assistance. the house is in a very good location, only a short walk to Pui O Beach and restaurants, taxi stand and bus stop only a minutes walk away. the house has plenty of room and facilities which is a nice surprise (a very welcomed feel) compared to accommodation in the central of HK! would definitely stay again if visiting the area :)

Good location, good local supermarkets and wet markets, easy transport, clean comfortable place for couple, great comfortable bed and bedding. A reasonable and fair pricing, a very responsive host. We had a comfortable and good stay.

Loved our stay at Al's place in North Point. The apartment is very spacious, the bed is comfortable, and there is a kitchen with everything you need to cook at home. The balcony is a great sun trap and a perfect place to relax with a beer at sunset! The apartment is in a great location to explore Hong Kong, and is less than a 5 minute walk from North Point station, bus stop and tram stop. There are also lots of great places to eat, coffee shops, supermarkets and markets all within easy walking distance. If you like running, its a great place to stay in Hong Kong as you have Quarry Bay jogging trail really close by too. Would highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Hong Kong!

I was amazed to stay in this place. The neighborhood is very trendy and cozy. The apartment is small but more than enough for a HK place, and you can enjoy the magnificent terrace. Better place impossible. Thanks a lot!!!

Metro very close, therefore, easy and quick to get around. Nice to have kitchenette a Nd washer during our stay. Very nice building and felt safe/secure. Host very quick to respond.

Excellent place, right in the heart of Central. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and a 7-11 right downstairs. Modest walk to the MTR which takes you everywhere you need. The unit is a bit small, and has a fair bit of "stuff" in it (I am guessing someone lives there sometimes?), but it has everything for a stay of a few days. Comfy beds. The use of digital access means easy check-in. Couple of small downsides - the hot water goes up and down a bit in pressure, and the apartment is not quite as new and shiny as the complex foyer and entrance would imply, but perfect for a family.

This is a gem of an apartment with a big balcony. Excellent location in Happy Valley HK. We’d love to stay again.

Great modernized apartment, light and bright, super convenient and everything supplied and worked as it should. For a HK style apartment the renovations had been done in a way that maximizes the use of space, gave a great spacious feeling given the size. Alistair was proactive and communicated really well, reaching out regularly to see how he could help and if there was anything else we needed. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Not much to say: absolutely great place and host.

While the location is about a 20-30 min walk to either beach, it is very easy to get to the closest bus stop. Be sure to download the Lantau Bus app for bus arrival times. There are some great hikes right from the flat that are amazing and not to be missed by outdoor enthusiasts. Be sure to get details from the hosts’ convenient orientation binder. The flat itself is great. Very clean with cozy furnishings and well supplied with everything you need for a home. Mobile service is almost non-existent in the village, but the WiFi covers most of the voids created by this. The WiFi has great coverage and speed making remote work very achievable. The hosts are very responsive, friendly and helpful. They make themselves available if needed and were a pleasure to stay with. If you are looking for an alternative to the dense urban environment of HK island, this is a great option for up to 4 or 5 people!

Great stay at Jeanie's with my family. The apartment is very large for Hong Kong standards and is very well-equipped. The apartment is a few minutes walk from Tai Hang and its cafes and shops. We had a great time in Avignon.
