Great location and perfect place to relax. Close to restaurants open during winter months. Easy drive to Mackinac City, The Soo, Escanaba, etc. Walkable to town. Games and books available for down time. Nice deck to enjoy. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

The host is very welcoming, the room is tidy and bright, and the accommodation feels very good!

Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully provisioned. Perfect rendezvous point for family coming from Traverse City, Houghton, and WNY. Enjoyed a surprisingly sunny spring afternoon on the back porch. A good jumping off point for “up north” attractions, but we were happy to just cook together and visit.

Absolutely beautiful area, and the house was perfect for my family and our dog! Squeaky clean, wonderfully well-kept, peaceful surroundings, and great location to reach the upper and lower peninsula. Highly recommend!

Location! Location! Location! Sitting by the lake for sunrises and sunsets was amazing. The home was charming and we had a marvelous time.

We loved everything about the Bhombay Beach House! It was private, cozy, and super clean. We appreciated the full kitchen (coffeemaker/coffee, full-sized fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, glassware, and utensils), since we like to save $$$ by making breakfast while on vacation. Bob was very responsive without being intrusive. He provided extra amenities without our asking (umbrellas and nighttime snacks!). The large-screen TV included Netflix ... lots of DVDs, too. The views of the beach (Lake Huron) from the living room and kitchen were gorgeous. It was too chilly to use the firepit, but we walked the beach on our last day, which was lovely. LOVED being so close to the water! We were just up the street from the ferry to Mackinac Island. We had never been, and it didn't disappoint. Horse-drawn carriages, the Grand Hotel, funky restaurants, lots of bicycles, fudge! Make sure to visit Bob (and Thom's) store, Cottage UP. Great finds! In short, a perfect stay in every way. This place was adorable, clean and right next to the snowmobile trail. It was perfect for our snowmobiling crew. Julia was very responsive when we reached out to her. The driveway was plowed as needed without us even asking. And, because our dogs love vacationing with us, it is great that it is pet-friendly🐾❤️

Glenn and Sonja’s beautiful home was perfect for our family gathering over the Easter weekend. The loft area was the highlight for the kids, and the well-equipped kitchen was much appreciated by the adults. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for our large group, and a nice mix of large gathering areas and places to go for peace and quiet. We will definitely be trying to book their place again the next time our family gets together!

I've been coming to Howard's cabin with friends for 5 years now. The place is always great and Howard is very helpful! We hope to be back again next year!

Perfect house for a long weekend. We stayed with our toddler and it worked out well. And Gil and Sil had consistent and clear communication.

We had such a great stay at John's place! It's really close to Searchmont, which was our main plan for the trip, but we had such a great snowshoe hike out to the Goulais on our rest day -- really grateful we were able to do that. The place is spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the nice big tub is fantastic after a day on the slopes. Can't wait for next year!

Arlen was a great host who was responsive and very friendly. He made sure we were well settled in on arrival. Little Betty Bluehad everything we needed for our holiday from the board games to beautiful, peaceful surroundings and good outdoor amenities. Definitely worth a visit

This location and house are amazing. The views from the crowsnest were a bonus. This is the place to be if one is fortunate enough to stay there when northern lights would be visible (the ever-present clouds over Canada prevented us from being so lucky). Monitoring an aurora site and marine traffic app is a must. I am so thankful that the steepness of the stairs was clear so that I was able to block them (pizza boxes from Superior Pizza came in handy) so that my curious pup could not try to go up - he would have definately gotten hurt trying to do so because of his size and how his pads would slide on the painted wood. Also, because we travel with our dog we routinely bring our own sheets, blankets and pillows to use on top of those provided at rentals I have to do something with all decorative pillows - this place has plenty. The ledges in the bedroom closets are a brilliant solution to living out of a suitcase! Loved this place

Steve and Karen are excellent hosts, responds within minutes and goes above and beyond. The house was awesome, exactly as pictured. The lake is within walking distance, we spent 2 days on the lake fishing and a day at mackinaw island. Fishing was slow but I was able to catch a monster smallmouth and decent size largemouth. Plenty of wood for a campfire, all the essential cooking utensils, ice stocked in the fridge. Any question I had, was answered in a very timely matter. Read the others reviews, they speak for themselves!
