Wayne and Diane are great, they were flexible and responsive hosts. They reached out with instructions before check in which included pictures since the house is a little off the path. And they checked in regularly throughout our stay (which is not something any host has done with me before). I really appreciated how everything in the kitchen and mud room was labeled so we could easily find utensils and cleaning supplies when needed. The house is spacious, our family of 14 comfortably fit in the living room! We banished all the kids to the basement where they had enough space to run around and the adults primarily used the upstairs living space. We wish we had better weather to enjoy the basketball hoop, ping pong table, hot tub, and playground but that’s not in anyone’s control. Be aware, the location is definitely isolated so if you get spooked at night being near the woods, not for you! The Miller’s family mechanic also uses the detached garage but they gave us a heads up each time!

Our stay was so pleasant and peaceful. The container house was well-designed and well-appointed. If you know Amish-country, you know the businesses typically close at 5pm, so we knew we’d be spending a decent amount of time at the house itself which is centrally located to all of the places we wanted to go! (Mohican state park, the Age of Steam Roundhouse, Hershberger’s, Cottonwood Shanty and of course, antiquing!) Plus it rained most of the week, but the large windows and view made it that much more peaceful!! The amenities were all clean and organic, which I really appreciated since that’s what we use at home. The couches and beds were cozy. The bathrooms are beautiful! The live plants make it feel more “real”…. And the hot tub was a nice bonus! Samantha was very responsive and even let us extend an extra night which was appreciated. We’d definitely stay here again!

This was our second stay at the Oasis. We had booked another place, but left about 15 minutes into our stay because it was infested with bugs. We messaged Sheila last minute and asked if we could stay at the Oasis. She responded quickly & got us in asap!! Like the first time we stayed, the house was spotless, the sheets & towels were super soft and smelled so nice. We enjoyed playing pool in the garage. The weather was nice, so we were able to have the garage door open. We relaxed in the hot tub, and sat by the fire table for a while. We also love that she has a tower fan for white noise. It was such a wonderful stay we didn’t want to leave! Sheila responds super quick & is so accommodating. This is by far THE BEST place we’ve stayed in all our years of visiting Amish country. We are looking forward to trying her other 2 locations in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at Landon’s. The space was beautiful and as described. We loved spending time on the rooftop. It has amazing views of the rolling Countryside. If you are looking for a nice place to stay and relax - this is your spot.

Beautiful house! It's obviously an old home made completely of wood but it has been well taken care of and has amazing up-to-date appliances. The king bed was super comfortable with lots of blankets. There was pretty much anything we needed here, he really thought of everything! Definitely recommend will be staying here again if we are in the area!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sugar Maple Cabin. The host responded to communications within or under 5-10 minutes. The cabin was very clean, provided necessities, and the amenities were well worth it. The only slight complaint would be that the second floor was rather hot for a mild (65/70 degree) day. Other than that, we are VERY pleased & will be back.

Great cabin! Secluded but close to shopping and restaurants! Very peaceful and relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was clean, and spacious and easy to get to. It rained most of the time but the fireplace was cozy and the views were peaceful. We did have some confusion around getting the hot tub to heat up, and had difficultly contacting the host but this may have been partially due to the spotty cell service. Overall we enjoyed our time and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing staycation.

We were really enjoyed our stay. It was well worth what we paid for it. It was really private, quiet and peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. There was also plenty to do in the area.

This cabin was amazing and beautiful. It was very clean and we felt right at home. Lindsay was very responsive when needed. We will definitely be coming back when it is warmer to enjoy the pond.

The place was perfect for our get-away weekend, and Jeff was a great communicator. We hope to come back in the future!
