Cabin vacation rentals in Holmes County

Lamar was quick to answer and resolve a keypad issue at check in. We had no further issues with it after that. Lamara was very friendly and professional in our interactions in advance as well as when I had to call him. The cabin was furnished as stated. There was even a small snack basket along with some cereal options and a fresh supply of milk in the fridge for them along with several bottles of water. The large Roku tv above the fireplace provided late evening access for the ALCS Game 4 Guardians game. We enjoyed the views of the heavily wooded property as well as the pastures of several different types of animals along with the magician goats who snuck out during the morning which we notified Lamar of so they could round them back up and secure them :) The small lake was peaceful and provided a fire pit and a few chairs. Each cabin also has chairs and private fire pits as well. We have stayed at other like properties in the area but this has become our new favorite!

5 Star stay in Amish Country

Lovely place. Had my morning coffee next to a horse. Lots of cats around, goats and a donkey. Beds were a B in comfort. Worth the stay for the proximity to Mohican state park and hot tub! Bring your own toiletries!! But the cinnamon buns were a lovely treat! Thanks for having us

Gorgeous cabin for the holidays. We enjoyed the views sitting by the fire and morning bird watching. Space was well designed for families. Short distance to shops and restaurants.

Place was cozy and exactly as pictured. Kitchen is very small but made it work 😉 View out kitchen window was beautiful! Bed was very comfortable. Amazing get away for husband and I.

Very peaceful and calm environment. The cabin was pristinely cleaned and well maintained. Beautiful landscaping. This was the perfect environment for my husband and I to unplug and reconnect. Even though the listing does not specify, they do provide more than enough towels, wash cloths, and firewood. We loved our stay at this cabin and plan on coming back. So nice to be in a place without light pollution and be able to see the stars. To the owners: thank you for sharing your lovely property. Your hard work maintaining the cabin and landscaping is appreciated.

The Stillwater is such a fantastic cabin in rural Ohio. Everything is high quality, even the cookware. The amount of tech is amazing, making it a perfect blend of modern and rustic. The cabin was absolutely spotless, to the point where I thought it was built the day before I checked in! The location is extremely peaceful surrounded by farms and beautiful hills. It’s located 10 minutes from Berlin which is the big tourism town in Amish country. Lindsay and Rhonda were extremely responsive and helpful and I would highly recommend them!

Mike and Mandy were great host. The cabin was exactly like it was advertised. They were very responsive and very flexible allowing us to check in early. Every rooms had a TV which was very nice. Would definitely stay at their property again.

We enjoyed our stay at Deer Creek Cabin. It was peaceful, cozy, and clean. Thank you for the thoughtful amenities! With rain and snow outside, the basement area was a lovely open space to practice yoga. Going home with clean clothes is always a delightful perk, thank you for use of the washer and dryer!

This was one of our favorite stays. There was so much history in the cabin. It was very easy to find, great instructions, easy entry and check out. It was very peaceful, private sitting out by the fire pit. They have a smokeless one on top of that so it made the experience much better. The kitchen has literally more utensils, spices and accessories than I have at home! Being winter time, all the leaves were down so you have a clear view of the river aThe cabin is tastefully decorated and you truly get the cabin feel. I loved that they had a Christmas tree up. My husband and I do this trip annually for our Christmas gift to each other and I always love it if they owner has a tree up. The pool table/darts/ping pong table/air hockey were so much fun when we had a very rainy night. Soaking in the very large and clean hot tub topped it off. This cabin is very large with 6 bedrooms but we felt very cozy with just the 2 of us. Love Love Loved it!

We had such a wonderful time at the cabin! It was a peaceful getaway for a long weekend, and we were so cozy despite the extra low temperatures outside! The cabin was super clean (especially amazing for a place that allows dogs) and very comfortable. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and had everything needed to make a full dinner. It feels so private and remote but is only 10 minutes or so to the grocery store, so that’s convenient. We were a little disappointed to find exploring in the surrounding woods is not allowed, but it’s a quick drive to Honey Run Highlands which had gorgeous hiking trails. We definitely plan to return during a warmer season to enjoy the porch, fire pit, and pond.

The cottage was perfect! It had everything we needed. It was very clean and had all the amenities as stated. The WiFi went out and Jenny had it fixed in no time. Although it was cold during the time we went, we scheduled another visit for the summer to experience more outdoor time. Looking forward to it. Highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay. 💕

This was our third stay at the deer cabin. Appreciate parking right next to the cabin door. Looking forward to visiting again.

The home was beautiful and looked even better than in the pictures. We came for Christmas and I couldn't have imagined a better place to celebrate Christmas with family. The house was beautifully decorated everywhere you looked. They had great amenities, showed us around the place when we arrived, and made it clear that they were available if we had any issues (of which we had no issues). One of the most unique parts of our stay was that there was a scavenger hunt for us to do as a group that they put together for us which was incredibly fun and led to a wonderful prize at the end. Would absolutely stay here again in the future.

We loved that the cabin was centrally located by Millersburg, Walnut Creek, and Berlin. There were plenty of towels for everyone and the kitchen had all the amenities. It was a beautiful location!

The Christmas decor was such a wonderful surprise, made the place feel even more special.

The Airbnb I originally had for my bridesmaids and me to sleep the night before my wedding cancelled my reservation 9 days before I needed it. Needless to say I was SO grateful for this place! Getting there was a little confusing, but by the time we headed that way from the rehearsal dinner it was 10pm so it was really dark. They did have clear signs though that took us straight to the right Airbnb! There wasn’t any service though so just don’t make a wrong turn lol. The place itself is very cute! There’s no Wi-Fi so we were a little nervous about being able to pull up directions to the venue, but we were able to get a bar or two by the cars. Overall, the beds are super comfy and this would be the perfect getaway spot! I wish I had had more time so I could sit on porch and read! You also can’t hear the people next to you which surprised me. It’s very quiet and I’d definitely recommend this place!

We loved the house and outside. Great for my husband’s birthday. We wanted a chill place to hang out with friends and watch scary movies. We brought a projector and watched them outside. Plenty of rooms for people to spend the night. The roads in can be a bit scary I wouldn’t recommend driving if it is dark.

We had such an amazing stay! We enjoy coming to town quite frequently, and this was our first time staying at Mary’s cabin. I have nothing but excellent things to say, and we will most likely be staying here every single time we come! The hospitality was amazing and everything item we had forgotten was provided. The cleanliness was exceptional as well as the comfort. We cannot wait to come back!

I would recommend arriving before dark to avoid having any problems on the road with deer. If you need any groceries, you would also need to bring those with you since there are no stores in Glenmont. Overall, this was a comfortable, rural, peaceful setting which we enjoyed staying at. We would certainly recommend it to others.

It was absolutely perfect. My husband and I went to wrap gifts (we have four kids at home, so no privacy) and it was exactly what we needed! We didn’t realize there was no tv but it was a nice break. It was peaceful, serene and spacious for what we needed to do. The only thing I didn’t love was the bedroom is up stairs and the bathroom is in the basement are and that’s a lot of steps in the middle of the night but nothing at all to make us not want to stay there again! The cookies were delicious, a hand written card and the warm cozy feeling of hospitality made it a memorable stay for sure, we also were able to get door dash from a local restaurant (cider something) and it was delicious!

Crystal’s place is an awesome getaway…We happened to be working in the area and stayed the week…It was a pleasure kicking back at this hideaway…Conveniently located…Crystal was great! Ty
