Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hollywood, Los Angeles

We chose this place for its location on a quiet side street a 6-minute drive from our daughter's house. But it also turned out to be convenient to numerous restaurants and shopping areas, not to mention an easy 35-minute ride to Malibu. Don't be misled by the unprepossessing exterior. The interior was modern, spacious, bright, sparkling clean, and beautifully furnished, with tasteful and functional updated kitchen and baths. The listing photos are totally accurate. There was plenty of elbow room for ourselves, our daughter and son-in-law, and their 6-year-old son (who also enjoyed the wooden playscape). A final note: the only things Sara asked of us on checkout were to put the keys back in the lockbox and make sure the furniture hadn't been moved. No burdensome cleaning chores required, a refreshing change from some of our previous Airbnb experiences.

The house is walkable to beach, church, restaurants and Ralph groceries. Open living room kitchen and dinning room makes it a wonderful place for family to dine, chat, watch tv and play games together. We had a wonderful time for our family of 4 and two dogs! Thanks!

Frank and Lenka’s place is conveniently located within 15 min of major attractions- Universal, Warner Brothers, Beverly Hills to name a few. Some other reviewers said that the road noise in the front of the house didn’t bother them, but we found it pretty loud. Parking was easy with the included parking pass, although I tried to park on the side streets when possible because the cars constantly flying by the front of the house made me nervous! We appreciated the nice appliances in the kitchen and access to laundry. Unfortunately it was a bit chilly during our visit so we didn’t get to sit outside on the private side patio, but the cushions seemed a bit dirty. Frank and Lenka were quick to respond to the questions we had.

We came back and stayed here a second time - I think that says it all. The house is very clean and the location works great for us.

This was a very nice house to stay in a little smaller than I would’ve liked but in a great neighborhood and two blocks from the beach, so it’s a wonderful location It was super clean and well organized. A couple times I needed questions answered. I called and they picked up and took care of the issue right away. Highly recommend.

Elizabeth's place was perfect! It was just the right amount of space for the two couples. There were extra beds in each room, and a roll-away bed that we used for an additional family member to stay Christmas night! The backyard had plenty of seating to arrange however guests would like. Having 2 bathrooms is always a plus in an airbnb! We hosted Christmas dinner there and the kitchen and dining area held us all! The short distance from airport was great! Elizabeth was SUPER responsive, no matter what time of day or night it was! That was the most important part of our trip, considering it was the week of Christmas! We plan to try to stay at her place every time we visit LA if it is available!

The house was very clean and newly updated. Garage parking behind a packed gate made coming and going so easy as there is only street parking on that block which is difficult to find! I had questions and was able to reach the host easily and they responded quickly toon

we enjoyed our stay in LA the house. We were a large family group of 14. The house was very clean and spacious. it catered for all our needs. The host Irene was very responsive if having any questions. If on LA with a large group I would definitely go back. l will recommend this place to our friends.

The location of this house is truly special, with breathtaking views that we never got tired of. Waking up to the sunrise over The Valley and the surrounding mountains each morning was pure magic. The pool area is fantastic - perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. We also loved how peaceful and quiet the surroundings were despite the proximity to the busy Ventura Blvd. Our host was easy to communicate with and very helpful throughout our stay.

Stephen’s place is beautifully situated and was a nice size for our family of five (kids ages 9-12). Coming from a cold climate, we especially enjoyed being able to eat and play in the outdoor spaces in January! Stephen was a responsive and helpful host throughout our stay; it’s clear that he cares a lot about keeping the property in good shape for guests, and while there were a fair number of rules to abide by they all seemed quite reasonable. Would definitely stay again!

Chunjiang’s home was absolutely amazing—straight 10s across the board! If I could have her as my host at every Airbnb, I’d be in heaven. She’s incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. We had a group of nine celebrating my son’s birthday with trips to Disneyland and Universal Studios. The location was perfect: just a 25-minute drive to Disney and 40 minutes to Universal. Now, onto the house—it’s immaculate, beautifully designed, and feels so safe and welcoming. The beds are cozy, the construction is high quality, and everything looks just as gorgeous as the photos. It doesn’t feel cheap at all. The outdoor space is stunning, and the kitchen was a favorite. My family loved cooking there just as much as we loved gathering together. This home made our trip unforgettable—we truly didn’t want to leave. Can I move in? Lol! Thank you a million times over for making our trip so special. Let me just say, THIS WAS BY FAR MY FAVORITE AIRBNB EVER! On the fence? BOOK IT!!!

I will never get tired of Shawn’s awesome properties and how attentive he is to all his guests. My experiences with Shawn as a host not just this property but I have stayed at other properties he owns have always been beyond satisfying. You can expect everything to be like the pictures or better and he will answer questions promptly for whatever you need. I’m thankful for hosts like Shawn and I would definitely recommend this property time and time again. One of my favorites indeed. Deily is the consummate hostess! No request was too big or too small for her immediate action and attention. Her home is simply gorgeous and the attention to details was exactly what we hoped for. We gathered together as a family to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday and Deily's home was the perfect environment for us - amazing location, beautiful accommodations - 5 stars ⭐️ We will be returning again (and again). Deily and her home is a gem 💎.
