We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and located in a quiet neighborhood in Purmerend. It was a great base for exploring both Amsterdam and the surrounding areas like Zaanse Schans and Volendam. The host was incredibly responsive and provided helpful local tips, which made our trip even better. We particularly appreciated the free parking spot, which made it easy to drive to nearby attractions and use public transport into the city. The Airbnb had a cozy living space to relax in after a day of sightseeing. It felt like a home away from home! We’d definitely stay here again next time we visit. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful stay with easy access to Amsterdam and other charming Dutch towns.

Saskia has taken care of everything to the last detail. We arrived on New Year's Eve. There were 4 oliebollen waiting for us. Everything is available, except an oven, but if you need anything you can ask Saskia for everything. Coffee, tea, sugar, milk and filters for the coffee maker. Everything is provided. We slept in the Reverend's room. Very cozy and cozy. Ideal for a short stay. In the summer, breakfast is served in the living room. Which is really beautifully furnished. In winter it is not warm enough in the morning, you will then get a delicious full breakfast in your room. No criticisms. The view from the kitchenette where you can sit on high stools is primal Dutch meadow. We watched the fireworks in the background, while our dog did not experience any stress, everything was nice and far away. Slept quietly on a good mattress.

Vidi lived in the accommodation as described and was also responsive to questions. She is very friendly and helpful. I had a problem with the rented e-bike and she called the shop directly. Your private area is separated, so you still have your own privacy and your own entrance. When she noticed that I arrived in Alkmaar earlier and leave later, she offered me an earlier check-in and a later check-out. In advance, she gave me good tips for a supermarket and e-bike rental on request. It's a 25-minute walk to the center, but I knew that before. However, you can also take a bus. The bus stop is around the corner. I enjoyed my stay very much and would book with Vidi again at any time.

Great place, and wonderful location to explore the Netherlands! Jacob greeted us warmly, and gave us a tour of the place. He also gave us some local recommendations, and one was The Zaans Museum. We learned about the history of windmills, and it was a superb experience. The place was perfect for our family of five. Ordinarily, the place is used as a bed & breakfast, but we had the entire place to ourselves with a fully stocked kitchen, and lots of wonderful things in close proximity for the short time we were there - two nights. We would have loved to stay longer and enjoy the kayak, and swimming in the river. Highly recommend, and would come back in a heartbeat. We rented a car, and lots of street parking. Also a great little brewery across the street.

Warm welcome with coffee and nice waffle. A few things explained about the island, the surroundings and the nice things to visit and do. Walk through the room/apartment together. Marianne and Maarten are friendly and warm people you can always ask for things and they also give tips. The accommodation is nice and quiet despite the fact that it is on a main road. Excellent layout and enough space for 2 people. Just a pity that the TV is in the sleeping area, but that can be solved by watching TV via your tablet/phone /laptop. Had a wonderful holiday and we would love to come back sometime. Marianne and Maarten, thank you for the good care.

Recommended! The location is perfect, easy to find, close to museums, mini supermarket, bar, cafe, restaurant, ATM, bus and train stop etc. Monique is very kind, she has prepared a delicious breakfast for me in the mornings, her room is very cozy and clean, the backyard has a beautiful view. We felt very comfortable with Sharon and Djurre from the beginning. They are particularly friendly and affectionate hosts and are helpful and open to questions in every way. The apartment is fully equipped and very homely due to a spacious interior design. Every morning Sharon prepared a lush and very varied breakfast, which we very much enjoyed. The location of the apartment is very convenient: you can easily and quickly reach many interesting places and tourist attractions from here. It was wonderful at Ilona and Yerko's B&B kahakai! Everything corresponded exactly to the description or was much better:) Wonderfully nice hosts who really value sustainability and put so much love into the smallest detail of their B&B. The breakfast is just as great as everyone has described before - my highlight was the vegan Nutella on still warm fresh bread! But also the super tasty oat porridge with fruit..oh just delicious😊

We were very well hosted by Bianca, she is a charming host, attentive while remaining discreet. She showed us her farm, told us about her activity and introduced her animals (ducks, horses, sheep, dog, cat, alpacas, we were able to pet one), she kindly answered all our questions about them, it was interesting. The accommodation matched the photos and descriptions well, cozy, clean, spacious, the bed was very large and comfortable, with a nice duvet cover filled with alpaca wool, we slept very well! The place is peaceful, quiet at night. The tasty breakfast, prepared with love and kindness (we were two gluten-free people and she brought us a basket containing several kinds of fresh and exquisite gluten-free buns), offered a lot of homemade products, it was hearty and delicious! We enjoyed ourselves! Bianca is really an exceptional host, everything was perfect at her place!

We had a fantastic stay at Miko's place. The room is great and even our dog was welcome and had space for his basket. Breakfast was always a pleasant surprise, varied and delicious! The location is great ,after a few minutes walk you are either on the beach, in the village or hiking trails . We enjoyed it very much, but we were certainly not the last time there .

We had a wonderful night before we left for Terschelling. The place was clean and spacious. Everything was available for a nice breakfast. We would love to come back again.
