Apartment vacation rentals in Hobart City Council

I really enjoyed staying at Lisa’s apartment. It’s a couple kilometres walk to Salamanca and is relatively easy, slightly hill-y but nothing too crazy. Check in was very easy, just a keypad to get in so no need to worry about keys. The kitchen and bathroom were both very modern. I found that the location was a good home base to visit Hobart, Bruny Island, Port Arthur, Southern TAS and surrounds as the area is easy enough to get in and out of at various times of the day without being too busy with traffic. Really stunning location, lots of great food options around as well and the supermarkets are a short walk/drive up the road if you need anything. 10/10 would stay again.

Incredible views and personal service, I wish we didn’t have to leave! The apartment is beautiful, large and comfortable. We travelled with my one year old son and they were kind enough to provide a cot, high chair, change mat and even a little box of toys and baby items. It was very unexpected and I was so grateful. I’ll be sharing the apartment with all of my family for when they visit Hobart.

Well equipped, comfortable apartment in a the perfect location. Only a short stroll down the hill to Salamanca Square. Car park a great bonus. Can warmly recommend, would definitely book again.

Thank you Jacqui! The place is clean, comfortable and thoughtfully curated. We so appreciated the thoughtful touches of tea and coffee. The location is peaceful and scenic, and easily allowed us to access the South Hobart rivulet walking track. My favourite - how comfortable the bed was! Jacqui was even attentive to the cold weather on our arrival day and made sure to turn the heaters on, ensuring a cosy comfortable welcome for us.

My family really enjoyed staying in the apartment, it was spacious enough for the four of us. The apartment was absolutely spotless and has everything you need for a relaxing break.

What a spot! We had such a lovely time staying at Madeleine’s place in Hobart. The view across the city was stunning and the kitchen was one of the best we’ve ever had in an airbnb- a dream to cook and relax in! Can’t recommend enough ☺️

We really loved the fabulous view of Hobart town and harbour. Definitely a leg workout getting up the hill on foot. Great food and coffee close by and a fabulous organic grocery store down the street. Not far to walk to both Salamanca markets and farmers markets, the harbour and centre of town. Cosy, warm and very comfortable with a fabulous view from every window. Definitely recommend this colourful little Airbnb.

Lovely apartment, very cute decorations everywhere - open, yet cozy. The kitchen was fully prepared with spices, oils, butter, various teas, everything that we could need.

Wow, this place was awesome. We loved staying here! The location was great and we were able to enjoy the Salamanca Market on Saturday. Kim gave us many great recommendations for things to do and where to eat. It was a great home base for checking out the rest of Tasmania.

My only regret is staying just one night! What a comfortable, clean, modern space. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. The air conditioning worked very well in our very minor heat wave. Julian was clear with instructions on parking and accessing the building which I really appreciated. We will for sure be back.

Everything was taken care of. Loved it. The location, near Cornelian Bay was great. we can recommend The Boatshed as a place to eat.

Fantastic hosts and very flexible with check in. The house was clean, well furnished and also had QR codes for the wifi and local attractions/restaurants. Highly recommended place

Excellent communication with the hosts, they were fantastic, the flat was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The only downside would be noise from the flat above. If you are noise sensitive this wouldn’t be the stay for you. It didn’t bother us though, some days there was a lot of noise on other days hardly any. At no point did the noise go late into the night. By noise, I mean foot steps on the floor boards above. Some people are fairly heavy footed 😉

Thanks Bowen - had a great holiday in Tasmania - and your home was part of it. You probably need to buy a new heater as the long stand up one in bottom wardrobe did not work . But all good we didn’t feel the cold that bad anyhow . Thanks John Dargie

This stay is really neat and tidy. Its cosy and the heating works great, making for a comfortable end of day relaxation. It's brightly painted with a sensible lay out for storage and living and some uplifting artwork scattered around. I had a short stay but enough storage for a long stay! All round great little place, will happily go back! The host was always quick to respond.

Staying at Sean's place was a fantastic experience! The apartment was spotless and well-equipped, and the location was perfect. Sean was a great host. The spa and views are AMAZING. Highly recommended!"

Everything was perfect! The property and landscape is absolutely beautiful! During a morning walk you can see lots of jackrabbits and possibly a few wallabies if you are patient. They were outstanding hosts and let our son feed their sheep. I would definitely recommend!

Having that beautiful bay at the front door really was spectacular. Positioned toward the end of a quiet culdesac and right across the Rd from the water, made for a relaxed and peaceful stay for our little family. Having the kids dvd’s was a winner for our kids to enjoy some relax time after big day. We wanted to stay longer for the amazing location that it was!

Gorgeous place up on the hills. Really good location to go to Bruny island. The breakfast supplied was great and it was so nice to arrive and smell the freshly baked bread left for us (which was 10/10). Really peaceful, the balcony had a great view of the water and hills. Would absolutely recommend for a quiet getaway!
