Wonderful luxury cottage perched high on the mountain, close to everything, but with spectacular views over Akureyri and the fjord. Modern, clean and well stocked with amenities, including a hot tub and laundry. Arnor was very responsive and easy to work with, gave great suggestions for dining and activities. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

Wow. What a stunning location and home! Remote and scenic, offered all of the relaxation and beauty of Northern Iceland that we could ask for. We were well prepared with Lea’s instructions to stock up on groceries/other before heading to the cabin. We were able to get some extra things at the grocery store in town though which was helpful, but I recommend coming prepared! The geothermal heated hot tub was a true bonus and even though we didn’t get to see the Northern lights, we loved watching the night sky through the panoramic windows. Would stay again.

Such a great place with wonderful backstory. Host was responsive and gave great recommendations of things to do the day we arrived.

We had a beautiful one night at Babbakot, 20 minutes from Akureyri. The snow was plentiful and staying at the cottage felt like we were in a fairytale!

Very cozy cottage! Enjoyed waking up to the Mountain View’s and animals on the property! Bathroom was clean and host provided extra towels and blankets!

Me and my family had a fantastic time at Stefanias house. The view over Akureyri is absolutelly amazing from inside the living room and the house is equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We had a perfect week there. Looking forward to visiting again.

Stay here!!! This is a unique gem in the mountains. We even got a beautiful view of the aurora borealis spread across the sky from downtown Akureyri to the mountain behind us. This place has very good character and makes you feel cozy and right at home. Would definitely stay again!

An excellent place to stay, right in the centre with the town's free buses departing right outside and the countryside buses just across the street. The taxi office is also opposite the apartment. Very easy to travel to and from (hire car companies are a ten minute walk or free bus ride away too). We were here for a short break but would happily return to Akureyri and use this apartment again. Thanks.

Beautiful location with the perfect view and the host was lovely, made sure to check in with us to make sure we were all set for our stay. Would recommend the location and house, had great amenities and design.

Beautiful location in nature with animals right on the sea with incredibly beautiful views. The house is spacious with great amenities (fireplace, bathtub with jacuzzi function, great terrace) Super cozy in a secluded location the pictures can't reach the reality of the water We'll happily come back anytime

Fantastic beds, very clean appartment, good rest, warm, we could dry in the wet weather, well equipped,as said,I loved it, just like on the photos. Friendly, experieced host. Good suprise the coffee machine and the ice cube maker and the boardgames;))

We stayed for two nights at Chalet 87. We really loved spending these nights in this cottage, we didn't miss anything and Andrea made the hot tub available to us. Andrea is very responsive to messages and is very friendly! The bedding was exceptional, two small beds but very comfortable with double cushions . Small but great kitchen! very nice underfloor heating. Clear and peaceful view. Shops are 5 - minute drive away. Again, thank you for this great experience! Beautiful continuation
