Vacation rentals with a kayak in Historic District, Wilmington

We stayed at Ric and Chelsea’s place for a week and everything was great! House was wonderful and exactly what our family needed. Lots of things to do at the house and in a very walkable location. Ric was very communicative. All around great stay.

Amber was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The house and location were even more beautiful than the pictures look. I highly recommend staying here!

We had a blast. The house was in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. It was spotless and comfortable. Our 3-year-old grandson loved the house and decor.

We had a great stay at Rob and Mary’s beach house. The location couldn’t have been better. It was right across the street from a beautiful, quiet beach, and the house sat directly on the bay. If we had more time, I definitely would have taken the kayak out. They really thought of everything. Beach chairs, towels, bikes, and more were available, which made things so easy since we flew in from PA and couldn’t bring much with us. The house was very clean and comfortable, and Rob and Mary were friendly, helpful, and responsive. They also provided a list of local recommendations, which helped us make the most of our short visit. I was there with my three teenage daughters and they loved it too. We would absolutely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay over Thanksgiving week! The layout was perfect for families, with the main bedroom and bathroom located away from the kitchen and other bedrooms, providing extra privacy. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the pots and pans were great quality. The laundry room was spacious, and the open kitchen/dining/living area was ideal for gathering and watching football. The game room was a hit, with unlimited video games and a pinball machine—just remember to bring quarters for the pinball! The small, fenced outdoor area off the game room was perfect for our dogs to relax and watch the neighborhood. The neighborhood itself was quiet and peaceful, and we even spotted a red fox one morning! Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay, and we will definitely rent it again for future visits!

Our kids had so much fun at the beach. It was an easy walk there from the house. Alison’s place was very neat and the beds were comfortable.

This was our first time in Wilmington and we couldn’t have been happier with the stay. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk to Wrightsville beach and nearby restaurants. We loved the amenities included with the unit. We’ll definitely try to stay there again soon.

Second time that I have been here and it was just as amazing as the first time. It is literally a play ground with all the water activities right at your fingertips and the sunrises and sunsets are picturesque!!!

This place was even better than the pictures! The ceilings are so tall and the floor plan is so open that it just feels so spacious from the moment you walk inside. The neighborhood was friendly and quiet, and we walked several times to food/coffee/activities downtown. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This stay was perfect for my two kids and me. It's quiet, private, airy, and beachy and is as described. The best part, however, was the fabulous hosts, who are welcoming, intelligent, and fun. We took them up on an extra--namely an excursion to an uninhabited island--and it was my favorite part of the trip. Later, Brian attempted patiently to teach us to crab while likely questioning the firing of our neurons due to my deft whacking of the crabs back into the water. While our bucket remained empty due to my propensity for crab driving, we left with wonderful memories. To their likely dismay, we'll be back! 😂

This cottage on pages creek was stunning, peaceful, full of nature and relaxing. Every detail was thought of, a very pleasant restful visit and an oasis at this destination!

This is a beautiful home. We really enjoyed our stay. This home is in a beautiful neighborhood. Everyone was very friendly. Short walk to the beach and canal. Golf cart is definitely worth having as everything you would want to do is just a short ride and offers free parking. Home is equipped with everything you would need. Very clean and private. Great if you have kids. Homeowner is great as he always responded quickly to any questions I had prior to our arrival. Once you are there, the detailed instructions provided will guarantee a great stay. Definitely recommend and hope to return again.

This cozy cottage was exactly what my daughter and I needed for a weekend away in a secluded setting on their property. Charlene was a gracious host and the amenities in this cozy cottage were impeccable! It was super inviting, modern, and had all the things that you needed including very appreciated basket of snacks upon arrival. My daughter and I really enjoyed using the gym next-door and then headed out toward Wrightsville Beach the next day. We enjoyed the fire pit at night with provided firewood on the cute patio with the string lights and peaceful sounds of nature. Grocery stores were easily 5 to 10 minutes away and Wilmington was a good 15-20 minute ride. Topsail was 25 minutes in the other direction and we loved visiting there as well. The property is huge and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cottage! Great stay overall!
