Beachfront vacation rentals in Hilton Head Island

We visited Linda and Jay's in November 2024 and had a very special week in this house. With young children, the proximity to the beach and ease of access was a huge difference maker. My wife and I went down the beach several nights after the kids were in bed and star gazed knowing we could be back in the house in under 30 seconds if needed. The home itself was very well appointed for working remotely. See above proximity to beach making it easy to pop out for 30 min or an hour easily if you need to do this. I would also say this house would be perfect for multi family or large family gatherings. We used the bedrooms and full baths as assets to make it easier to care for 2 under 2, but given each bedroom has its own full bath, you could have everyone together while still not needing to share those private spaces. Highly recommended!!

Though we were only there for a few days, Cassie was amazing!!! We had some issues with the plumbing, and they got on it right away for it to get fixed and were very responsive and caring. Definitely stay here!!🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Halle and Zack were great hosts, who communicated very well with us before and during our stay. The unit was well appointed and had everything we needed. Very nice spot.

My Husband and I loved this gem of a place. The location is perfect. Beautiful views of the ocean from the 3rd floor. The condo was very clean. The bed and linens were comfortable. Craig was kind and responsive. This place surpassed our expectations and we truly had a wonderful vacation!

We had a great stay at Stephen’s place! We loved the peaceful walk to Coligny shopping and the short walk to the very calm beach. The outdoor living areas were wonderful and the natural lighting of the home gave us the true vacation home feel we were looking for. Thank you!!

Ideal location for Hilton Head Island. Access to adjacent resort is just perfect. The kids loved the pool, the beach is right there. Pool bar is great for a quick meal and beverage. Balcony is very nice for a lazy coffee in the morning. The condo has pretty much everything you need (beach chairs, sand toys, etc.). As others noted, the space is a little tight, but we spent our whole time at the pool and the beach. Also, Coligny is a short walk away. Overall, a great spot to unwind in Hilton Head. Also, reasonably priced compared to other rentals in the area.

This is an absolutely gorgeous home that is perfect for a large family. The pictures don’t do it justice. This home is in a beautiful neighborhood with its own access to the beach. We loved every moment spent there!

Great budget-friendly location, and amenities were still great! Kids had a blast exploring the property, lots to do and loved having an indoor pool (needs painted) in spring. Our unit had games and plenty of kitchen wares, wine glasses, towel hooks and sitting space. Family room furniture was different than the grey couch pictured, but comfy. The patio seating was different than pictures with a patio couch, table and chair set, but it was great- perfect for lounging, listening to the surf and watching the amazing wildlife! We saw alligators, turtles and heron and diving ducks in the marsh. There was a fountain outside our balcony than was on 9:30-9:30. Quiet hours were well-observed by other guests. Walk to the beach was about 10 minutes, but easy and there was a shuttle if needed. Easy access to laundry and to the elevator and stairs. It was nice having the Island Grill/shop on-site and Coco’s on the Beach. Rented beach chair set through ShoreBeachService .com

We spent a week here for our kids’ spring break and had a wonderful time! The condo was immaculate and the hosts were incredibly kind and proactive in their communications. We loved the screened patio in particular for morning coffee and afternoon reading. The area is beautiful with tons of biking trails, beach and pool access just outside the condo, and a short drive to great restaurants, shops, mini golf, and other fun spots. The beach is amazing, with the tides revealing a unique ecosystem of local sea and beach life. We saw a bald eagle on the beach, too! Highly recommend for a relaxing, fun, and family friendly stay.

We had a lovely stay at Steve and Jenna’s. Perfect for a family, easy access (walkable) to the beach. The location was great, the resort full of charm. We were very close to a tennis court, and the pool was easy to locate. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time in Jim's beautiful place. Everything - the furniture and beds, the kitchen and bathrooms, were comfortable and worked well. The big picture window really was wonderful and especially so when we had some colder weather and rain; we could happily sit in the living room and the unobstructed ocean view was right in front of us. Of course, the view was from the deck as well. Communication with Jim and his associates Greg and Nicole, was excellent throughout, including when we were on-site. Nicole answered every question quickly by text and in a most friendly way. The location with the walkability to Cologny Square was perfect for us. We enjoyed all the restaurants and shops there and in the area. We enjoyed people watching at the park area at the entrance to Cologny Beach. For us, this was a relaxing-by-the-ocean vacation. Hilton Head certainly offers a lot more to do, but we enjoyed just 'being there' and Jim's place made that especially nice.

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo has everything you need including beach chairs, umbrella, and wagon. We typically have to go to the store to buy various things whenever we stay at a condo but we didn’t have to this time. We were very pleased with how clean the condo was as well! We love that the resort has an indoor pool for bad weather days and pickle ball courts. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect condo for a long weekend for my husband and I. It was exactly as described. The view from balcony was beautiful with the lagoon and beach. David was excellent host! Peaceful, quite getaway!!

We had a wonderful family vacation at Teena’s apartment! She is an excellent host and was always responsive, even when late at night. This apartment is steps away from our favorite beach on Hilton Head! Peaceful and away from the busy part of the island, but close to everything you’d want!

Had the best time at the villa! Everything was beautiful and clean! This place is in the best spot and the views were so great! Perfect for our family. Had no issues. We’ll definitely be coming back!

What a great condo! Exactly what we were looking for in Sea Pines. Came for our anniversary and to escape the cold NC mountain winter. Who knew HH would get over 4” of snow while we were visiting! Made for a memorable trip for sure! Kim was so kind and understanding and reached out to us to offer us another night or so to be able to travel safely out of the area. Enjoyed being able to bring our dog and walk right out across the street to the beach and walk the beautiful paths to salty dog. We’d definitely stay here again (didn’t mind the walk up steps to the 3rd floor at all - happy to get some exercise - but that would be a consideration if you had knee/mobility issues.) All in all, this was a very nice condo, comfortable, clean and well stocked and we are grateful for our lovely stay.

Perfect location and wonderful accommodations. Alli’s cottage was equipped with everything we needed for a great week. Literal steps to the beach as well as Coligny Plaza, we could have gone the entire stay without needing to drive if we wanted. Her recommendations were excellent and the convenience of all the options for food and activities close to home made it easy to find something for everyone. 10/10, would recommend and will try to make a trip back myself!

Great location! A lot closer to the beach than we originally thought when we booked so that was a pleasant surprise. Perfect yard for dogs. Roku TVs in every room. Located 10 mins from grocery shopping and restaurants.

Everything was exactly described, as the reviews said the shower is small but the place was perfect for a family with 2 small kids. Having the detachable shower head helped with their age. The beach access was better than Florida beaches and we saw the sunrise on the beach several times. The kitchen was well stocked. Back yard was good for the dogs. My allergies did flare up but I’m highly allergic to animals so I expect it with dog friendly places (mine are hypoallergenic). Would stay there again.

We greatly enjoyed our time in Hilton Head. The house was clean and spacious with a variety of bedrooms for us and our friends. The master is on the main floor. There was grass in front and a small backyard for our little pug to go to the bathroom, too. The house is walking distance to a nearby park and even a cat sanctuary. There were a lot of games in the upstairs closet so there was plenty to do on rainy days. Harbour Town is about 25 minutes away and don’t forget your $9 cash. We ate at some great nearby restaurants, but our favorite was OMBRA Cucina Italiana. Highly recommended!

We had a great time staying on Tybee Island! My family of 9 stayed very comfortably in the house. Loved all the king beds & that everyone had their own bathroom. The master suite is absolutely fantastic! Loved so many deck areas & that it was within walking distance to the beach. It is close enough to Savannah that we were able to drive into Savannah for the day & enjoy the night life. It is also so nice to have a double garage available since parking is at a premium. We would definitely stay here again next time we find ourselves near Tybee Island & Savannah!! Thank you for a fantastic vacation!

Comfortable condo with balcony and rocking chairs. Had all the amenities!

Matthew’s cottage was perfect for our family to enjoy Tybee Island before attending a wedding in Savannah! It's in a quiet neighborhood, but still walkable to the beach, lighthouse, fort, and some restaurants. The outdoor space was great for our small dogs, and Matthew was an attentive host. We would definitely stay again!
