House vacation rentals in Highlands County

Pictures don't do this place justice ! It's absolutely stunning clean and you feel just at home ! Water pressure was amazing bed where comfortable! And the outside with the pool was awesome ,you could watch the cows across the lake swim it was great the kids and I got quite the kick out of the cows ! Also propane was empty and Wendy was very prompt in reimbursement for the new tank I'm talking 20minutes and she was there and so apologetic!! We own rentals in Ohio so we know how stressfull and difficult this business can be and Wendy is totally crushing it she is amazing!!!

Perfect location for our Spartan race event. We love the layout of the house, it was nice and clean. Our host was quick to response to our questions. Will definitely stay here again!

Melissa was a wonderful host, she responded timely and was always friendly. The place was exactly what we needed for our trip to Sebring. It was spacious, clean and well furnished. We especially loved spending time on the patio by the pool, though it was too cold for us to swim sadly!

Everything we were looking for…clean, spacious, peaceful. The pool was a hit! Highly recommend!

Wow! Such a beautiful property in the friendly city of Sebring, FL. We’ve visited Sebring many, many times since we have family here but this was by far our favorite trip. We dealt with Tatiana who was extremely nice and helpful. Our Rottie (adult male) absolutely loved all the room to run around and play. The lake was amazing! Tatiana suggested that we catch the sunset and boy was she right! It was just astonishing that this little town in Florida could have such amazing views. The place was perfect for my husband and I. We loved the balcony that overlooked the huge yard. We would most certainly stay there again and again!!

Sherri was an excellent host with great communication. The house was clean and accurately described in the descriptions. We enjoyed our stay close to our family and would look to stay again.

Perfect place for our family get together! We played games, swam and enjoyed the hot tub, and visited the local farmer’s market. The grounds were beautiful, entertainment plentiful, and lots of space for the 12 of us. Beware of the mosquitos outside at night though!

Avon Park is a lovely place, but not many choices for lodging. Glad House is 5+ stars is the perfect location. Stayed Christmas week and the house was nicely decorated for the season. We were not wanting anything I will remember Glad House and tell others!

Autumn and Eric are wonderful, kind and very available hosts. They went above and beyond to answer any questions, and to help with any needs during my stay. So blessed to have found their home.

We stayed here for 3 weeks and really enjoyed our time here. The house was very clean and has a lot of space with plenty of natural light. Lots of seating on the back deck to enjoy the sunshine as well. The kitchen was nice for cooking and we were happy to have the washer and dryer. TJ and Sylvia were very responsive and wonderful at recommending good places to visit. Everything about the house is cozy and comfortable and it’s also located in the perfect spot. Right across from the lake and a short drive to the circle in down town Sebring. A few miles from 2 hiking parks that we went to every day and several golf courses along with several places to eat. There’s also a great wide smooth walking sidewalk across the street along the lake that shows how pretty the lake is. We would stay here again in January of next year but it is booked already!

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were very responsive and checked on us. We were visiting the area for an event and there are limited hospitality accommodations, and what there is, they aren’t the best quality. So Dusty’s place was perfect! It was so clean, and comfortable: will definitely be returning.

This home was the perfect setting for a girl's weekend. Home was very comfortable with new appliances, new furniture and in a comfortable setting. Lake Betty was a beautiful view from the backyard. Neighborhood was quiet.

Everything was perfect. The house is close enough to restaurants and stores. House was exactly what was described. Amazing view of the lake. And the house was big enough to accommodate 6 adults. Plenty of space!!! Host was awesome. Answered any questions I had. When I come back to Sebring I will definitely be staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We had trouble getting into the place initially, however, Irma was very accommodating to correct the situation and make things right, which was greatly appreciated. We come to Sebring very often, and we would definitely stay at Irma's accommodation again. Thank you, Irma!

What a wonderful place for a family Christmas gathering…or any occasion! The kitchen is huge and we cooked everything from tomato soup to crab cakes to peppermint bark — super fun. We ate and played games together at the large country dining table, watched movies together on the enormous sofa. Some of us were obsessed with completing a puzzle at the smaller game table in the living room, others played video games, ping pong, and shuffle board in the game room. Outside, we played bocce ball on the lawn, jumped in the water and went out on the lake on a pontoon boat rented from Lake June Boat Rentals, which was great. We had a fantastic vacation that was made possible by Paris’s wonderful home. Thank you so much.

There where a few little issues with cleanliness. Overall it was Extremely clean, however the trash had not been taken out when we arrived and smelled bad, and there was a spatula in the drawer that had not been washed. These were very obviously just mistakes, which happens. Marni was very responsive when I reached out to complain, and resolved the problems appropriately. I’m sure future guests won’t have any problems, as the hosts were very committed to improvement and very surprised by these mistakes. Overall great experience.

This lovely home was perfect in every way. It was clean, comfortable, with a very lovely Florida room. It had a great dock where we could keep our boat and a nice sitting area on the dock. Melissa was a fantastic host. She always responded immediately and went out of her way to accommodate us. We will be back.

We had a peaceful and fun stay! There is easy parking for up to 4 cars. The house sits on a road which is not too busy. We enjoyed the lake views and canoeing. The backyard is very private since there are only trees to the right and the house to the left has no residents. We made family memories here!!

We had a fantastic New Year's at Robin's place. Home was very clean and cozy. It had everything we needed. We did not spend a lot of time there as we were visiting friends that lived nearby but would definitely like to stay there again when it's not so cold and enjoy the lake.
