Accommodations in Highclere

Well we found an absolute gem in Francis as a host. So responsive & welcoming straight from the off. This was the perfect ending to our honeymoon & we had a lovely night sleep after a very long day of travelling. The annexe was lovely & cosy & absolutely spotlessly clean. All the instructions left were clear & easy to understand. Francis was so helpful & went above & beyond in accommodating any requests. We just wish we could have stayed longer! I would 100% recommend staying here & hope we can come again in the future.

Really good value for a 4 bedroom house, and very convenient for transport links supermarket etc. Third time our group has stayed here. The midday checkout takes the pressure off on the last day. Speedy and straightforward communication - thanks Dholma.

A truly wonderful stay for our big family. We rented two of the properties and they were interconnected via the courtyards (which could be also isolated if not connected). Everything was excellent, the decoration, cleanliness, all amenities and appliances and of course the location. The highlight was the wood burner in the main house which was our place of gathering. Such fond memories! Luciana was exceptional in providing input and support. One could not be more responsive and quick! We are very thankful for having found such a gem and we would strongly recommend it to whomever wishes to spend time in the Cotswolds. Thank you Luciana!

We were a group of 4 people walking the Thames Path, we stayed at Alexander's place for 2 nights. Alexander was very welcoming and responsive, checking that everything was working well for us. The Barn is full of character, very cosy and has great views over the fields. Beds very comfortable and great to have 2 en suites. We had a lovely stay and would recommend the Kind William pub in Ipsden, great food.

Great place, ideal for a family occasion or get away with friends with a large garden for the kids to enjoy. Beautiful quiet house and perfect base to explore the area. Only thing to keep in mind is that the hot water can run out if there is a large group of you but manageable with slightly shorter showers. Would definitely recommend.

Noel and Karen are just the best! They could not have been more helpful. the property was breathtaking, somehow even better than the photos, Everybody in our party commented on how beautiful and comfortable the house was. Nobody wanted to leave. Noel went above and beyond with his messages, responding almost instantly with a great deal of helpful information. We left with some amazing memories. I could not be happier. I've spent the last couple of days scrolling though pictures of our lovely mini trip wishing I was there again. thanks again for all your help. Hayley

We had a fab 3 nights in the Safari Tent. It was clean and was exactly as described. The instructions for lighting the stove were very handy. Mel was a great host and responded to any queries we had. We will defo be booking again.
