⭐️ Amazing stay!! ⭐️ Thank you for being so flexible to our requests for early check in. The weather was lovely on our last day and we were approached by the owners to say they were happy for us to check out at 1pm instead of 10 which was really helpful for our party of 14. Great venue for our Hen do - would also be suitable for large family gatherings. Wish we stayed longer to fully explore the grounds and local amenities. Lovely property, beautiful grounds, responsive and friendly hosts. Would absolutely stay again.

One of the best places we have ever stayed in for one of our regular meets. The heated swimming pool was the main reason we chose it. It was also very spacious, clean and in a great location. Will be back soon!

Fantastic accommodation and great facilities. The whole family loved the pool, hot tub and the pizza shack! Beds really comfy. Definitely recommend!

Birdforth Hall Cottages are fantastic with the added bonus of the heated indoor swimming pool and the hot tubs. We rented the Byre and the Mill House for a family reunion and it was just ideal for our large group. Very highly recommended and there are fantastic pubs/restaurants within 10 minutes drive.

Amazing house for a weekend celebrating my fiancé’s 30th with friends. The building and grounds are gorgeous, the beds are super comfy, the fire is so cosy, the hot tub is amazing with a beautiful view out over the grounds, the snooker table is fun, and the kitchen was perfect for cooking as a group. It all felt really easy and Ellie was quick to respond whenever I had a question for her. Despite being part of a shared estate it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We all loved every minute of it except from the one where we had to walk out the door!

We had a lovely christmas break staying at Dawn's house. Only a 10 minute walk into the centre of York and 5 minutes away from the train station. Dawn was a great host and provided accurate instructions to assist us on arrival. The house is beautifully laid out and was spotless. We will definitely be staying here again.

A really lovely modern and cosey feel, absolutely immaculately clean and well presented. The bed in particular super comfy! We felt right at home straight away. Helen & Iain were very responsive and welcoming and very helpful too. I felt like nothing was too much trouble! Very lovely stay thank you :-)

We have just returned from a few days in York. From the word go, Claire gave great communication so we knew what to expect. The house was in a fabulous location, beware though if arriving on a Saturday, parking can be tricky. 5 minutes walking distance from the city walls. The house is in immaculate condition, with everything you could think of and very tasteful in decor. It was even decorated for Christmas which my wee boy loved. Thank you for the basket of essentials when we arrived and the very helpful manual. Would definitely recommend. Thank again!

We had a fabulous stay at the cowshed. It really felt like home. Beautifully clean and well equipped accommodation. The Christmas tree and festive touches were a lovely surprise and much appreciated. The hosts were very welcoming and so very attentive… Thank you. Great location with good access to local amenities and attractions. Will definitely stay again.

Gavin's place was fantastic—spotlessly clean, modern, and incredibly cosy. We felt right at home. Communication with Gavin was quick and easy throughout our stay, making everything so smooth. The late check-out at 11 am was especially appreciated, giving us some extra time to unwind. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Gavin’s place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

We had a lovely stay at this annex. We had pretty much everything we could need. The snacks and wine were a nice touch. The annex was clean and well-presented. It was a bit cold in the annex but there was a heater and an electric blanket in the bed.

ONE OF THE BEST AIR BnB we have stayed in. we were visiting york for my wifes 40th bithday, and found this air BnB and what a fantastic find, gaynor is an amzing host and such lovely house. There was everything there and the cake and juice and milk in the fridge was just an extra cherry in top. Gaynor was so great at helping and giving information, and the response time was amazingly quick😀 . The house was so homely, and spotlessly clean,✨️✨️. Gaynor has thought of everything, and even if you had forgotten anything , gaynor was ready for that too and had everything covered. It totaly made our weekend and loved staying there, and will definatly 100% use again when coming back to York. THANK YOU so much Gaynor, 💖

Lovely house, very clean, beds were very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Celeste was a great host. We had a great time and would have no hesitation in recommending to others
