Vacation rentals with lake access in Heredia Province

This place is beautiful. Bridgette was a super host. But the property was amazing, walk over a little bridge in the back yard to get to a amazing/peaceful river. It was so beautiful back there. I highly recommend this place

La Casita is paradise. You arrive and enter a portion of forest with many species of animals and plants, then there is the stream with turtles. Yes, it remains enchanted. The house is complete with all the comforts and great taste in choosing everything. We had a great time and will be back because I don't think there's anything better in the area. JP and Nena are very helpful and kind.

Place was great if you are looking for a place near nature. Right at the river. Dany the host was by far the best most accommodating host I haver ever had. No one else even comes close. Made good suggestions, checked to see if we needed anything. Took us to one of our outings. Suggested a great white water trip. The place itself is very clean, new, the air works great. That said it is a bit small but for the price and location a fantastic find.

We had a great stay. Irma was very responsive. Fresh eggs in the morning were delightful. Close to restaurants and grocery. We feel comfortable on the property. Easy drive to Poas Volcano which provides great sights and wonderful walking trails through the cloud forest. We also visited La Paz Waterfall gardens. It was basically a zoo/botanical garden with great waterfalls. We were concerned it would feel too tourist for our liking but we all really enjoyed it.

Melissa was an amazing, proactive, and friendly host. After a disastrous situation with another host, Melissa accepted our last-minute request for booking. Due to the late hour, heavy rain, and limited internet while driving, it was difficult to find the location the first time, so I recommend arriving during daylight hours. Melissa's instructions, photos, and videos are perfect for finding the home. We absolutely loved the home! It is such a quiet, peaceful, and serene location. I enjoyed all the birds in the area and hearing the howler monkeys in the mornings and evenings. There is no hot water, which is the norm for the area. Melissa sent friendly messages a few times during our stay to make sure things were going well, which I appreciated. We all loved staying here and would stay again when we return to the area.

I can't say enough great things about how gorgeous his place is. It is like being in a botanical garden walking around the expansive grounds, and it is only a few minutes away from the La Paz Waterfall Gardens where we spent an entire day. There was ample sleeping space and it was very neat how it was like a two-story wood cabin. We were able to log right into our Netflix account and watch movies at night too on the big TV. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We were very pleased with our stay and thought it was a great value.
