We ended our journey in Costa Rica here and it was a very lovely experience. Breakfast is great and all the restaurant / cocktails are too. The rooms are very big and everyone is very friendly. We definitely recommend this place for a great stay in a cozy and warm ambiance

Pretty good. Appreciated the locally owned vibes. Shuttle was great! Pool was comfortable. Breakfast was great! I enjoyed all the fresh fruit! Beds were ok. Could use new pillows. It was like sleeping on a pillow case full of socks.

It was very relaxing and easy to be met at the airport and be taken straight to the hotel. The food was lovely. And it was great to have the pool. The room was big and spacious and had a great terrace with a fantastic view down into the valley. The road was very noisy including at night. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we loved staying here as our arrival place into Costa Rica before going off into the wilds

We didn’t have any direct communication with our host Sharon, but the room was within the Ara Ambigua Lodge and the lodge itself is amazing - helpful friendly staff, stunning environment which was clean, comfortable and surrounded by amazing wildlife - all you could wish for from a stay in Costa Rica.

This is the perfect place for photographers and bird watchers to enjoy some beautiful views and beautiful birds in Costa Rica! Omar is such a wonderful host and was so kind, welcoming, and has great knowledge of the area. He really made this stay super special. We will absolutely be back in the future!

I had a lovely stay with John and Meri! It was very clean, very quiet and peaceful, and close to the Convention Center (5-10 mins walk or 15 mins ride-share). John was super proactive and very friendly, and they were very accomodating when I had to check in later due to a flight delay. I highly recommend!

Everything has been great, the view of the valley is very good, the hotel is very nice and feels very cozy, they make you feel at home.

Great bedroom, a great bathroom with hot water and the beds were good. The kitchen was a bit messy and unclear, but it is the owner's kitchen that you use together. Everything was there and worked well. The garden is large, we saw many animals (hummingbird, turtles, monkeys...) and there are many cats walking around that won't bother you! There is a playground for small children and a good Soda (Chami) within a 10 minute drive. We visited the national park, about a 15 minute drive. The house is centrally located! Carlos is a great host who is ready to help you.
