Lovely back to basics cottage in the countryside. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Close to all you need.

Lady Marmalade is a beautiful cottage and our group of two couples and a dog really enjoyed our stay. Even as a two bedroom home, the outside areas including amazing gardens, deck and an undercover area gave a great sense of space and privacy. The welcome treats, record player, board games, and TV apps were all nice touches. A quiet neighbourhood yet easy walk into Daylesford village. We only hope that the old key lock soon gets an upgrade for ease of use, and flooring in the main bedroom and front hallway gets some attention as the squeaking floor was loud enough to wake others during the night.

Everything has been thought of, from comprehensive instructions on the property and how to enjoy your stay to an extensive range of information on places of interest in the region. A great place to stay!

Great modern house so close to lake perfect

Rachel’s place are surrounded by beautiful gardens and bush. Quiet and tranquil and has plenty of indoor and outdoor space to relax and unwind or socialise and entertain. Very comfortable beds as well :)

I really enjoyed my stay in this large, comfortable , dog friendly home . Host was very generous with leaving provisions & plenty of kitchen crockery etc . Being Ballarat , I experienced 36 c one day & 15 c the next ! Heating , cooling great . The garden Is beautiful with a large variety of plants & flowers . I hope to stay again 🙏🏽🏡thank you

Older traditional style B& B, Jocelyn was very helpful and no problems with later check in ( even met us with a torch to find the right driveway). Despite being an older property it is well maintained and clean with everything you would need for a comfortable night in, because it is a B & B there was a great selection of supplies and we really appreciated the orange juice. Our dog was also allowed to stay and she enjoyed her night as well.

We loved our stay at the cottage and will definitely be back! The house has beautiful light, we loved the sun on the deck in the evening so much. The house has all cutlery, crockery, bowls, plates, cooking things you need. The shower is sooo good and the bed is super comfy. It’s an old cottage so there are creaking noise and some of the floor boards need work but it’s awesome and we highly recommend it!

We had a great stay! The property was comfortable and well-equipped, making it ideal for our group’s work trip. The host was attentive and thoughtful, even providing extra towels, which was incredibly helpful. The location was convenient, and the amenities made our stay enjoyable and stress-free. We really appreciated the hospitality and the little touches that made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend to others and consider staying again!

place was great and had everything we needed at a reasonable price. The kids loved the farm animals and were kept entertained throughout our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place in the outskirts of Melbourne

Great studio very convenient for the main street in Daylesford, and minutes walk from the Convent Gallery and Wombat Hill gardens, both worth a visit. No wifi, but a reasonable TV and DVD… but bring your own films… we had watched what we wanted after 2 nights… and Daylesford wasn’t offering much nightlife post dinner during our stay. Great area, want to return. …pool looked inviting, but no time to try…

Great accommodation for our group in a beautiful charming home, walking distance to town and local restaurants.

The cottage was on an estate which also housed a number of other houses. We enjoyed our stay and found the cottage very warm and dog friendly. It would be a great location to gather with friends

It was a very lovely place to spend a very relaxing weekend. The landscape/views are gorgeous and we had perfect weather. Great to be able to take the dog with us also. I made use of the outdoor area and the kids certainly enjoyed the available streaming services when not in the pool. It was a bit of a splurge for us but I couldn't fault a thing for days just enjoying the surrounds.

We wish we had booked to stay longer. Such a beautiful space with everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

A lovely stay, such a cute bunch of cottages. You hardly notice the others around, they’re well spaced and have all you need. It’s such a beautiful and peaceful place.

We had a great stay and Renee and Izy place. The main strip was walking distance which was fantastic and meant that we could wake up and get our steps in on the way to breakfast. Short driving distances to all the different tourist spots we wanted to hit. We brought along our little sausage dog miso and she had a ball exploring and running around. There was ample space for her. We also enjoyed the pool on the property, very clean, warm water as it was indoors and heated and right next door to the room which was great. No one else was there so we had it to ourselves. Thank you for a memorable family getaway!
