The lake house - beach, sauna jetty, barbecue and boat!

Every day we enjoyed the uniquely beautiful view of the wintry lake and the long sunrises and sunsets. On most days, we were able to slide across the smooth ice, skate and go sledging. Then it snowed and we were able to walk into the untouched snowy landscape. There were lots of animal tracks to see (deer, stags, foxes, a moose and even the tracks of a lynx in the forest). The sauna with a view of the lake was also great. The communication with Mattias was excellent, fast, very helpful, with lots of concrete tips and suggestions. A thousand thanks. We can only recommend the house for Sweden fans.

The cottage met all our expectations and had everything we needed. Great cozy atmosphere with fireplace and nice view of the lake. Everything was tidy and clean. Also the host gave us clear information about everything we needed to know. It was quite cold when we were there with it was warm and comfortable in the house. Nice with sauna as well. Great surroundings, would like to come also in the summer.

Had a very pleasant stay. Photos and description were correct. Clean and tidy apartment that contained everything one would need. Calm and cozy tuna. Nice and central location. Quick response from landlords if we had any questions. Highly recommend.

We've had a fantastic stay. The cabin is in a beautiful location next to the lake. We've loved walking on the frozen lake and in the surrounding area. The cabin is super cosy and comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer. We'll definitely be back and very keen to experience this place in the summer.

Like our first stay here, we loved our week spent at Malin and Jonas's place. The accommodation and environment are beautiful. The cottage is very clean, well equipped. Malin and Jonas' welcome was warm. There are many things to do in Leksand and around Lake Siljan. We'll be back again.

We had a fantastic stay in Peggy's guesthouse. It is very remote and it takes quite a drive to get anywhere but that was exactly what we were looking for. The house was very clean, very lovely, very Swedish. It had everything we needed for our little remote getaway and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Linnea is an awesome host. She is very helpful and nice. She brought us from the train station to the supermarket and finally to the house. She explained us everything in detail. The house has everything you need. From bikes and fishing rods, over gas grill and charcoal grill to a fully equipped kitchen. The house is wonderfully furnished and we felt very good there in the First moment we arrived. You can see the lake from the House and a small beach is only like 20-30 m away. With the bicycles you can reach easily reach a bigger beach or a supermarket (10-15min ride). The neighbors are also very helpful in case you have any problems or needs. Ah, and there is a delivery service of some restaurants where you can order easily affordable food :) Thanks, Linnea, for the great stay in Sweden, we would definetely come again!!

Perfect location for the bigger company. Lovely surroundings and the house is in mint condition for its age. Jan and Jessica are very responsive and kind hosts with proactive communication. One word for description: WOW!
