Characterful, unique and secluded late 17th century grade-II listed weaver's cottage with private fenced garden situated in the suburb of Fartown 1.4 miles from Huddersfield town centre and train station. There are excellent links from the train station to Manchester airport, Leeds, York and London via Wakefield. Bus stops are close by (for Huddersfield and Bradford) and there is easy access to the M62 (approximately 2 miles away). Taxis are available from Huddersfield train station.

Characterful, cosy, Grade ll listed cottage

It was as we expected as, until recently, we lived nearby. Lovely little cottage very tastefully furnished. Very comfortable bed and lovely ensuite. Stairs could be a challenge for someone with mobility issues. The road is noisy in the day but you should expect that as its the main Wetherby to Harrogate road. Little courtyard is a gem with sun on it in the afternoon. The park around the corner is beautiful, just sit and watch the river flow by.

We had a really relaxed weekend in Warmfield. The views are stunning and the house immaculate. There are so many really lovely touches. We have an SUV, so we were a bit worried about the parking space from other comments. However, absolutely fine for an SUV if you reverse in. Thank you for a fantastic weekend.

Our stay at Spinners Cottage was most enjoyable. The location was spectacular and the cottage itself was well equipped and welcoming. Fiona was charming and responsive and we enjoyed seeing her going about her farm duties - feeding the chickens, etc with her delightful dogs in tow. To be highly recommended.

This was a very lovely place to spend the Easter holidays. We enjoyed the walks around Aberford including up to the Triumphal Arch on the Parlington Estate. Lotherton Hall is worth a visit as it is just nearby. It was very easy to get to Leeds and York for day trips - both cities being only 30 minutes away - and it was nice to come back to a cosy cottage to relax in the evenings. We had no issues with parking and were able to find a close space on the street outside the house. Chris was a good and highly responsive host from the outset making sure that we had arrived safely and provided useful advice throughout our stay. We very much enjoyed our time here and have no hesitation in recommending Chris’s cottage as a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Thank you.

Beautiful location with great facilities for us with a small child - he especially enjoyed being able to look out the window and see the cows, walking to the lake to see geese and seeing the pigs. The house was well equipped and it was a lovely touch to have the wood burning stove with the logs all ready to light. We would definitely stay here again!

This is the best Air B&B we have ever stayed in. Such a beautiful location and the accommodation was nothing short of outstanding. Everything in the house was of a high standard, the host has kitted it out far beyond what you would expect to find in rented accommodation. We had the pleasure of meeting the host who was a lovely and very helpful. We plan to return again soon.
