John was a lovely host, always friendly and up for a chat when we caught him. The house is in a great location & super easy to find! Albie, their cat, is the sweetest boy ever and often came over for snuggles! Would recommend staying here if possible :)

My daughter Indigo and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Tessa and Jason were super welcoming, and the place was immaculate and only a short stroll to the beach and shops/restaurants.

Nestled very close to the beautiful Chelsea Heritage Park and iconic Chelsea Sugar Refinery, this is a lovely, spacious guest suite in a quiet location. Tracey is an awesome host; warm, friendly and most accommodating to our needs from the start of our stay to the finish. We were relieved to find that she had kindly provided fresh milk, orange juice, coffee, teabags and snacks when we woke up on the first day after a very late arrival the night before, due to a plane cancellation. The beds are comfortable, the place is clean and you feel right at home in the lounge overlooking a gorgeous, well-established garden. It was lovely to sit on the patio with a freshly-brewed morning coffee listening to the range of dawn birdsong. Although we didn't use it, the pool area was lovely too. All in all, a solid recommendation for this gem in a lovely spot. Thank you, Tracey!

Lovely and very welcoming hosts, who were happy to give recommendations for the area. The studio was very clean and everything I needed was there - including everything for breakfast. As I travelled alone, I only used the single bed, which was very comfortable. Especially the sleeping area upstairs got very hot during the warm days, but the aircon cooled it down nicely before I went to bed. So overall thank you so much for having me stay and I really enjoyed this spacious lovely studio! Also thanks for the hint of the carpark at the river for the 30 min walk to the waterfall. That was awesome!!!

This garden studio was much bigger than the average studio. There was a dining table with bench seats, as well as a small couch next to the kitchenette. It was clean and tidy with everything we needed for 4 nights. Sandy is a lovely person and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

April’s Airbnb was perfect. Such a beautiful wee place and so much space! Communication was great & check in was a a breeze.

We loved our stay here and were so happy to have such nice helpful hosts. The location is has great access to the trails and just a short drive from anything around town.

Perfect beach batch! Extremely close to a beach access and great surf spot. Grocery store, cafes and restaurants are all within an easy walking distance. The apartment was very well equipped and so much space for surf boards and hanging out outside.

We had such a wonderful stay at Sean and Suzanne’s place! The home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is perfect—peaceful and close to the beautiful Maraetai Beach, with stunning views and great walking spots nearby. Sean and Suzanne were fantastic hosts—warm, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. Their attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. We would absolutely love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-cared-for place to stay. P.s Thanks for the treats in the fridge :)

Unique spot for sure! Beautiful estate and scenery. Well appointed. The squeaks and rattles are a reminder of the age of the home but it’s definitely worth it to go somewhere memorable. I can now say I’ve stayed at a Georgian Manor.

This was such a beautiful place to be! So peaceful, relaxing, welcoming and beautiful. It was like an escape in the middle of the city. Rose went above and beyond as our host to make it such a wonderful experience. Just so many little touches and extra details which really elevated the entire experience. If you have the opportunity to stay here, book immediately! One of the best and most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and my daughter loved the trampoline. The location is convenient for mountain biking at the redwoods. We missed being able to cook (no stove) but the kitchenette and the fridge is good enough for breakfast &sandwiches. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
