Private suite vacation rentals in Hauraki Gulf / Tīkapa Moana

We loved our stay at John and Linda’s airbnb. They were very flexible with check in and check out time, allowing us to check in early and check out late with my work schedule. It had everything we needed and more. Their cat Albie is a very sweet, handsome boy who we had the pleasure of meeting. If you love cats, he will join you on the bed and cuddle you. Free parking on the road in a little carpark at the end of the cul de sac. Just note that the entrance of the house is shared but we still recommend and privacy wasn’t an issue. Nice place close to city and easy to find/ private setting

Great spot, close to the beach and the mount (without being amidst all the noise). Simple but comfortable with everything we needed. Super easy to find, park and access with great communications from the host.

Best AirBnB experience I've had. phenomenal hosts. ideal location. Walking distance to beach and bay and a short stroll to the mount. Separate living space with a verdant backyard and patio. I emphasize again how helpful and easy to deal with the hosts are. I'd planned on a weekend in Mount Maunaganui. that turned into a week.

This was our second stay. The accommodation is very comfortable and we enjoyed the spa and the tranquil garden setting. Great location close to Chelsea sugar works, shops and restaurants.

Sean was a great and friendly host. He even came to visit us during our short 1 night stay. He also had surprise goodies in the fridge for us. The views are amazing. We really enjoyed the stay and we highly recommend his place.

Fiona’s home was soooo lovely! Our Airbnb got cancelled last minute and we believe we got lucky because we found this incredible Airbnb and that night was the only available night for the whole month. Everything was gorgeous and the grounds were incredible. Highly recommend!

Location! Location! Location! If you are looking for a place to stay in Matakana, then this is the place. Everything is in a short walking distance, around 300m to the Matakana Village Farmers Market and most restaurants. Elva is a lovely and welcoming host, the studio is clean, modern and quiet. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

We keep coming back to Tony's place as it is a real gem. Host friendly and helpful. Lovely quiet private backyard setting. unit has everything you need and is super clean. Great washing machine and dryer. nice cafe around the corner. 15 min. walk to grocery store. TeAwa cycle trail 10 min cycle away. Bike shed for secure overnight storage. 30 min. walk to town. Great value

Moira's place was brilliant for me. The location worked perfectly for the nearby cathedral, and there were many dining options nearby. The villa was far more personable than the pictures portrayed. Moira was very helpful when I requested an additional set of linen for a change of 2nd guest. A lovely spot to stay in Parnell.

Excellent place to stay. It is clean, comfortable, wonderful furniture and fittings. They are fabulous hosts and very welcoming.

My in laws had a lovely stay at Yolanda’s place. She was a great host, very communicative and responsive. The place was neat, very comfortable and had everything they needed for a long stay!

It was so lovely stay for us! The pool and the views are beautiful. The appartment is large and very good for discovering Whangarei Heads. Marg & Jan are so helpful and their property is so nice for spending the holiday. Thank you, ladies :)

Aaron’s suite was a perfect spot for our group of 4. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches- usb charger, heat lamp in bathroom, full length mirrors, extra clothing hooks in bathroom and bedrooms and the body and hand lotion that was provided. This was the only Airbnb we rented in New Zealand that provided any of those amenities. The suite is convenient to the ferry stop for travel to Auckland city centre and only a half hour drive to the airport.

We were glad to find a place to stay in the Pukekohe area, on fairly short notice. Margaret's place was exactly what we needed.
