Our group had a fantastic weekend at Evenden. The house had everything we needed and the grounds, pool and spa were amazing! A great location and perfect home for large groups and families. Highly recommend staying at Ilse’s place, we will be back!

The house is set on lovely grounds with ample activities for the children: tennis court, swimming pool and a table tennis table in the garage. The inside of the house is spotlessly clean and beautiful. Although a teeny tiny imperfection is the absence of a microwave oven, this does not detract from the overall charm and functionality of the house. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

We had a fabulous holiday celebrating our mum’s 70th birthday. The house was the perfect set up for the extended family and the kids enjoyed playing in the back garden, jumping on the trampoline and swimming in the pool. Lots of space for everyone to feel comfortable and the house was fully equipped with everything we needed. We loved being within walking distance to the village, skatepark and supermarket. Thank you Shannon for all your excellent comms and letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Great place to stay it was a great experience. Theres was lots of boardgames, books which we really enjoyed. Warm welcoming home. The grass in the backyard was my favourite part because its so cushiony but overall highly recommend very family friendly!

Home away from home. Our stay here was safe, neat and tidy, quiet neighbourhood, well designed functional home. Easy to find and great location for the purpose of our trip. Spacious for 4 of us travelling from overseas. nice to return to a comfortable bed after a long day out. Excellent host.

This is the second time we have stayed here. So handy to Havelock North village center. Just a short walk. Black barn and Craggy Range only 12 minutes drive. The house itself is very comfortable. The most well equipped Airbnb I have stayed at. Great having that third separate toilet!! Thanks Michele and Vicky. We will hopefully be back soon. Kathryn

We had a lovely stay at the Far Cottage. Denis and Margie obviously put great care into its construction, and it's a charming building in a lovely location. It's quiet and secluded, surrounded by fruit trees, but just a four-minute drive from town. my son and I very much enjoyed running the trail that you can pick up at the end of the drive. Margie greeted us on arrival and made sure we were settled in comfortably. An exceptional airbnb experience, highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning location! Such a tranquil and relaxing retreat, close to the beach. Close enough to local sites, restaurants and shops. The property was pristine and had everything we needed, the reading material was so interesting and worth a read if you’re interested in the history of the area. The host was very responsive and answered any questions we had at any time. I am very happy and thankful for our stay, it was just what we needed. Thank Rebecca!

A great house to stay at for a weekend away with girlfriends. Beautiful clean and tidy home in a lovely neighborhood close to the beach. Jo was very helpful and was there to let us in on arrival, and then left us to it. Price was a bit higher but it was the Robbie Williams concert so understandable with accommodation at a premium for the weekend. Fab stay, would definitely stay again!
