Cozy Cottage with Incredible Views!

KathrynRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a wonderful time at Dani’s property. Between canoeing, tubing down the river, and catching frogs, my kids and I had a wonderful time! The area was in close proximity to many day trip opportunities like the Riverview Zoo, Lang Pioneer Village, and the Peterborough lift locks. It was a wonderful trip and a great way to end the summer.

5 mins to Sandbanks / Close to Wineries / Spacious

EllaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My family visited Erin's place for the weekend and loved it! The kitchen was well stocked, and the place looked exactly like the photos. Although very private, we also enjoyed its proximity to nearby downtowns. We would definitely recommend it and stay here again!
The lodge features a wooden exterior with a wraparound deck, surrounded by lush greenery. A staircase leads up to the deck, where seating is arranged. Flower baskets hang from the railing, adding a touch of color to the natural setting.

Award winning Algonquin Eco-Lodge

JoeyRating, 5 stars56 months ago
The Perfect Getaway For the Times. I spent 4 nights and 5 days at The Algonquin Eco Lodge. Due to the uncertain times, I was looking for a place where I could re-connect with nature, meet new people, and explore without the fear or worry of overcrowded areas or cleanliness issues. At first, I was concerned about the shared bathrooms at the Eco Lodge, and this even delayed my booking for a little. However, since experiencing the Eco Lodge first hand, I can say, the cleanliness of the entire lodge was impeccable. I not once was concerned about sharing the bathrooms. They were always minimal of clutter and sparkling clean. My room was also the same. Clean and spotless. The staff were kind and hospitable for the entirety of my stay. Meals were delicious! You could tell that David (the head chef) put a lot of thought into his meal preparations and dishes. Every meal I found to be absolutely wonderful. Stephan and Scott were incredibly knowledgable about the grounds, its history, and its landscape in its entirety. Stephan also took a group of us on a 4-hour trip canoeing, which I must say, was a magical experience. Being my first time canoeing, I felt as though I was in good hands the entire time. I highly recommend this excursion if you want to truly see Canada and its radiant beauty within Algonquin Park. Booking and communication from the on-set was great. Robin was great too! Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to The Eco Lodge especially during the current times. I felt safe, inspired, and genuinely at peace during my stay.

A modern “County Creek House” in PEC (MT20211638)

AntonRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had an incredible stay at County Creek House in Prince Edward County! The spacious rooms and thoughtful design made us feel right at home. The house was stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen spices to pool floaties, board games, and fire starters. The organic garden was a highlight, providing us with fresh heirloom tomatoes daily. The location is perfect—close to beaches, wineries, and restaurants, yet tucked away just off the main road, offering privacy and tranquility. We loved exploring local wineries and restaurants, but relaxing by the pool with family was just as memorable. Heather and James were outstanding hosts, responding to every inquiry within minutes and making our stay completely stress-free. County Creek House is the ideal family-friendly retreat, combining convenience with a sense of escape. We can't wait to come back!

David is a responsible host. He always answers questions quickly and nicely. We received extra paper towels and garbage bags, hand-delivered from him. The lake view from inside and outside of the cottage is absolutely amazing. David owns the whole peninsula so you can rent the other cottage in front of this one at the same time if you have a lot of guests.

Dom Chalet Waterfront on Stoco Lake

GeorginaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Absolutely stunning cottage! The owners put a lot of thought into the details to make everything perfect for their guests. The pictures don’t do the cottage justice. Once you walk in you realize how spacious the place is which can’t be conveyed in a photo. The bathrooms, kitchen, furnishings and decor are modern and cottage chic. The extra sunroom/office came in handy for work zoom calls or just getting some peace from the main hub. Loved the large deck with two dining tables plus lounge chairs! The views are gorgeous with the expansive yard by the large fire pit and lake. The yard was perfect for tossing a ball or frisbee with our dog. The kids loved the trampoline and play structure. There is a nice dock on a large peaceful lake. We were surprised there were hardly any boats or people touring the waters. There are neighbours on one side of the cottage but it still felt very private with the trees, rocks and reeds separating the properties.

We stayed at Myers Cave Resort for 4 nights with our two kids and had a wonderful time! The cleanliness and comfort of our cottage exceeded our expectations. Our favourite part was that everyone had something to do. We also really enjoyed the canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and boats. Thanks Myers cave! We will be back!

Secluded Nature Chalet-4 Season Retreat & Water

AmalieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
My husband and I had a lovely week-long stay at the Secluded Nature Chalet over Christmas! Lisa's and Ian's attention to detail was evident from the start, with thoughtful touches like a handwritten card and welcome gifts awaiting us upon arrival. The house is cozy yet modern, with an impressively well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom felt luxurious, featuring a rain shower and a large bathtub—especially with the small bath amenities thoughtfully provided by our hosts. The property offers a perfect blend of forested tranquillity and access to Bark Lake. We loved the beautiful view from the house and the daily visits from squirrels on the terrace. The snowshoes and hiking poles the host lent us made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Lisa was very responsive and quick to resolve a minor heating issue. Her attentiveness ensured a smooth and pleasant stay.

Woodview Cottage - Myers Cave Resort

AlRating, 5 stars46 months ago
We had a beautiful stay at this cabin on Marble Lake! The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the lake and environment was gorgeous. A wonderful place to stay for adults or families - we'd love to come back another time. A few things you may want to know about staying here that aren't clear from the listing: -shared waterfront access to Marble Lake is beautiful, and great for swimming or boating - canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats are available -each cabin has a designated fire pit for campfires - BYO wood or purchase on-site for $15/bag. It was awesome to watch the sun set over the lake by the fire. -planning to grill is a good idea - there is just a small 2-burner hotplate inside the cabin. You can bring your own propane tank or rent one for $40/day or $80/whole trip. -you may also want to bring toilet paper - 2 rolls were provided but guests are responsible for refills -Bon Echo Provincial Park is a 15 minute drive away, and a must-see in my opinion. One of the most beautiful places in the province. Thank you to Mike, Nawar, and the great staff at Myers Cave Resort!
