Perfect Couple's Get-Away with Private Beachfront!

We had an amazing time at Tracy’s place. We didn’t want to leave! The view was incredible, neighbors nearby but still had privacy, and close to downtown L’Anse if we needed anything. The fireplace and sauna added so much to our already relaxing stay. The layout and decor of the cabin was cute and perfect for the two of us. Tracy was great at communicating and checking to see if we needed anything without being overbearing. We definitely want to come for another stay at Rock Beach! Thank you so much, Tracy!

My son and I visited Marquette in late September. Donna's house was a great place to stay. Clean, spacious, and well equipped. It's in a peaceful neighborhood but convenient to downtown Marquette. We took several day trips both east and west along beautiful Lake Superior. It was a wonderful vacation!

Spacious Family Friendly home close to lake & town

Great location! Loved the recommendations and the only place I’ve stayed where I didn’t need to do anything before check out :) The beds were comfy and plentiful and the house was super kid friendly, even a toy box that my boys loved playing with. Super close to town and Marquette Mountain Resort as well as all the other fun hikes and activities.

Lane's place was great! Clean, tidy and comfortable. Lane was easy to communicate with and offered really good suggestions for both coffee and food (we especially loved Contrast Coffee and Delft Bistro). And Lane's place, being just outside of the the downtown business district, made everything walkable :) Thank you, Lane!

Our family had a wonderful stay. We had everything we needed. The house is spread out so everyone had their own space. My husband and I shared the master, my adult son and family had their own apartment basically ( in the tower), teenage boys had the “bunker”, and although my parents couldn’t make it, they would have had their own wing as well. Beautiful surroundings, private… we couldn’t have asked for more on our long weekend away bonding with family.

We had a wonderful stay in Marquette and Miriam's place was perfect for our family. This place was very clean and we had plenty of room to stretch out after a long road trip. Miriam's place is in a quiet neighborhood and everything is within walking distance. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, breweries and shopping all near by. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

Lake Cottage: Private with Sunset Views

The Lake Cottage was exactly as pictured - clean, nostaglic, modernized amentities and loads of vintage charge. We booked last minute for a New Years Eve hurrah with my husband and two children (ages 3 & 8), and my only regret is not staying longer. We snowboarded, ice-fished, played board games, did puzzles... and simply enjoyed our time together. It was restorative and the cottage is conducive to slowing down and savoring each moment. The property (albiet Winter) was spacious and felt private, tucked down the long(er) drive with a single neighbor in sight. Elizabeth, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. 10/10, will probably book again!

Magnificent lake view and the perfect deck to enjoy the view! You can actually see the sunrise in the morning. Ample space with all the necessities. Like some of the reviews, the house is a bit old but it does not affect the quality of your stay. The only thing kind of bothers me (tiny bit) is the kitchen light. It’s relatively dark so not very convenient to cook when it’s dark outside. Otherwise, this place is a gem!

We loves our stay! The home is SO cute. And every detail was considered to make the home dog friendly. I love the proactive communication from Jacky to make sure we were taken care of at every turn. This home is the perfect quaint cottage... and feela JUST at home! We loved EVERY minute of our stay. The lake views were also incredible!

It was the perfect landing spot for our amazing Pictured Rocks Cruise, checking in a bit early to get to the cruise on time was perfect! We enjoyed bopping around the waterfalls and 12 mile beach. Even in March, you can’t beat walking through the back yard dunes straight onto the Lake Superior beach. The house has great space and splits well for 2 families to each have some of their own space. Tons of toys and games for the kiddos too!

Great for the entire family!

We came up for a week long snowmobiling trip. The home is newer open concept. It had lots of space for the 7 of us. The upstairs has baseboard heating and the basement has floor heating. The garage as floor heating as well. We had three large trailers which was accommodating. The beds were a mix of firm-soft. The bed I slept in the basement was perfect for me. We had one hiccup with the shower head not functioning correctly, but she came and fixed it the next morning without hesitation. Would definitely consider staying again.
