We didn’t end up staying overnight because our flight was changed, but the room and the guest house were both charming and pleasantly quirky. We’d book to stay again if we find ourselves back in Johannesburg

I really enjoyed my stay at Sam’s place. The location is great - it’s in a nice area of the city, close to many restaurants, etc. Sam was very kind and provided great recommendations. The house itself is beautiful and the room was clean and had everything I needed.

I only stayed one night at Josie's but it was exactly what I needed - centrally located, close to great restaurants, and the entire booking in and out process was seamless. The room is big, bed was comfortable, and Netflix available. Very comfortable, and I will definitely come back when needed.

Fabulous 'home-away-from-home'. Convenient location while feeling like you're not in the city. Loved all the friendliness and hospitality. Looking forward to going back!

Annamarie made me and my yorkies feel welcome. My brother was hosptalised for chemo treatment and she went the proverbial extra mile - like lending us a small coffee plunger for him to use in hospital. Beautiful garden and lovely neigbourhood. I will be back…

Friendly and super accommodating team. The lodge is quiet and peaceful. Our room was gorgeous, with great views to wake up too. Really felt like paradise and we can't wait to come back.

Thanks to Harry for a warm welcome, check in was smooth the staff was friendly. Beautiful birds outside so serene. The place is exactly as seen on the pictures. My partner and I had an amazing time, housekeeping was also flexible. I would recommend the place to people who want to get away from the busy city and recharge.

Birthday getaway I needed and Kim's place delivered. The stuff and food was amazing. I stayed in a room first night which I didn't enjoy much and absolutely loved my second night in a Cabin so definitely highly recommend. I would like to try a tent next time for the experience.

Chris and Bernadette are wonderful hosts. Very friendly and helpful. The place is lovely and well located in the Bryanston area. I needed to be at the Bryanston Country Club early in the morning and this was the perfect place to stay.

Funtastic place, they should just separate the description in terms of hosting or booking of entire house which is suitable for family and the of apartment. This place is highly suitable to host a family and private events with sleepover intentions. fustuastic place thought and amazing landscaping and garden
