Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Harpswell

This is a great place to stay don’t even hesitate to book this place. The place looks more better in person I am not exaggerating and Katy is a great host she records everyone’s experiences in a book which is someone unique I have seen until now. She’s responsive, helpful and very understanding host. Thank you ! For this wonderful stay we started out new year 2025 at Katy’s place and it was amazing

Beautiful restored farm house with enough room for 4 adults and 3 kids for a family getaway! We were able to cook dinners with a very well equipped kitchen and enjoy the fire pit in the backyard with incredible sunsets. Our kids loved the hike to the river on the property and our family really enjoyed spending a day at the Coastal botanical gardens which was only a few minutes drive away from the house!

My husband and I lived in the place for 43 days. It was PERFECT! The house is better than in the photos. A lot of space. Laundry in the house. Kitchen with everything!! Super comfortable beds. Really good shower. Check in super clear. Michelle and her boyfriend were super nice to us. They helped with snow cleaning, they decorated the place for Christmas and it was so cute!! In new year`s eve we asked if we could bring some guests and they said yes. They are really good hosts and I definitely recommend this place! The location is really good - close to many restaurants and main roads. It was PERFECT for us!

We had a great stay in Tara's home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and is close to our favorite towns- Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. We had plenty of room for the four of us. We loved the outside spaces and the open floor plan. Tara was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The instructions for check in and check out were very clear. We hope to return in the future!

Actually rented both units A & B of this property for my wife's birthday to have some room for additional family (surprise). Unit A was awesome! 2 beds and a bath, BIG kitchen that had everything you would need, dog friendly with a fenced in yard which is always a plus, super comfortable living room/dining room combo that had plenty of room for everyone to gather, private courtyard (shared with unit B) with room for outdoor dining and a grill PLUS hot tub! I could go on but to summarize, it was perfect for our plans. The addition of unit B gave us the whole place and I couldn't be more pleased! Centrally located. Anywhere we wanted to explore, from Kennebunkport to Ogunquit and beyond, was never more than 20 - 30 minutes away. Even the neighbors were amazing (friendly)! 100% I would (and plan to) stay here again!

Really great place to have a big family gathering. Plenty of little places to sit and chat with a small group or circle around the big group. Also the sleeping arrangements were comfortable and varied for different types of family sub-groups (us with kids, grandparents without, etc.)

Overall a great stay. Very clean, just the right size and quiet. The instructions were straightforward. It was a great staycation ☺️

We had an awesome weekend stay at Monique’s cottage. The house was clean and equipped with all amenities listed. The yard space is huge for backyard games. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas at Nate's place. It has an authentic and lived-in feeling (unlike some places with that sterile Ikea-Airbnb-kit feeling). It feels like a real home with warmth and character. The beds are comfortable, and there's an excellent couch for watching TV, reading, or lounging. The kitchen has everything you need. It's in a more residential part of Portland, but it's close to everything great in Portland. The location was excellent for us because we had a family member in nearby Mercy Hospital, just five minutes away. Nate's place provided a comfortable place to decompress. Nate was very responsive and just excellent. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Enjoy!

Valle and David were the perfect hosts and we had an amazing stay. We also got to use the hot tub which was such a treat in the cold weather. Dave and Valle went above and beyond - from leaving little chocolates treats for us to enjoy upon check-in, to very thoughtfully offering to extend our stay for a few hours until the roads cleared out from a the overnight snow storm. Thank you Valle and Dave!

We loved our stay at Prime Rock Sq! The perfect, affordable spot for a weekend getaway for a couple. Of note was the king size bed, which was SO comfortable! The apartment was spotless upon arrival, and also very quiet even though we were close to downtown. We came back one evening and a fire had been made in the fire pit outside which was a fun way to wind down the evening. It was just a delightful little spot and we will definitely be back! The hosts were great and communication was excellent. Thank you both for having us!

Delightful place to stay in Portlands West end. It is easy walking distance to everywhere…. downtown and even the East side. Great restaurants in the neighborhood from breakfast to dinner. The apartment was immaculate and was stocked with just about everything you’d need. The shared yard was charming and felt very private. We have family in the area and I hope we can stay there again and again. It was much more comfortable than a B & B. Lorie was very responsive to anything you might need.

Place was as described and the host was very friendly and quick to respond. Downtown was a quick Uber ride there and back and host left us great recommendations to try out. My only negative was the bed does sit very low to the floor. I had a little trouble getting up because I’ve recently had spinal surgery and I have RA, but my husband was fine with it. Just in case an elderly person or someone with RA is thinking about it. I do highly recommend it other than that.

Great apartment in a very walkable part of Portland, a perfect location for exploring the city. It was clean & spacious with a very comfortable bed and we appreciated the off-street parking. The owner Jeff and his wife are very friendly and served us a fantastic meal at their small brewpub downstairs. I normally wouldn’t choose a rental above a pub, but theirs closes at 9pm every night, so noise wasn’t an issue at all. Would highly recommended this unit for a stay in Portland.

I had an amazing stay! Rachael was a very responsive host, and was very helpful throughout my stay. The location was quiet but within driving distance of all the things I wanted to do, and it matched all my expectations based on the listing. If I’m ever back in the area, I would certainly love to stay here again!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We booked over Christmas. Jacki reached out to me just after I booked to see if my family celebrated Christmas and if so, would we like some decorations put up. I replied yes. When we arrived there was a decorated tree and some other decorations throughout. It was really nice. It is wonderful that they are dog friendly, they even have dog dishes there. Our Great Dane was with us. My whole family agreed that if the opportunity presents itself, we would definitely go back.

This was by far one of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had! The camp was everything we could’ve hoped for and more. The location was private and peaceful. The cabin was well appointed and felt as if it had been in the family for generations with little subtleties that made us feel right at home. The bedrooms were quaint and cozy and the living area was the perfect place for our family to gather in the evenings. We loved the outdoor fireplace and made sure to roast hotdogs and s’mores every chance we could. Perhaps our favorite thing about the camp was the dock and Panther pond! We took the canoe out several times and also went for a dip in the crystal clear water as a family right off the dock which was perfect for swimming. All in all, this place was incredible! If you’re reading this and it’s still available, do yourself a favor and book it!

We had a wonderful stay while visiting to do some skiing at nearby Sunday River along with another couple. We love that it was dog friendly and brought our labradoodle who enjoyed exploring outside the property just as much as we did. The cabin sits on a very peaceful and private piece of land next to a gentle stream. It was clean and comfortable for our 2 night stay. We had a dusting of snow on Saturday and Shawn was out there clearing the driveway and spreading sand for our convenience. He also allowed for a late check out on Sunday so we could leave the dog while we were skiing and stop back before the drive home which really made our day. We would absolutely return on future trips to the area.

First, I want to say the biggest thank you to Marie for her attentiveness to detail, quick response time and for being so kind. When I had questions, Marie answered them so quick before we even got to the location. Upon arrival, my boyfriend and I were greeted with all of the christmas lights and battery powered candles lit up for us to find the house and driveway. (Winter so it was dark early) When we walked in to see the amazing fireplace in the house going and a basket of treats, crackers and cheese strawberries and so much more! I had mentioned hot cocoa to Marie and she even left some for us! The bathroom has a heater and the floors are so unique. The bed was amazing to sleep in and we had such a cozy, quiet, enjoyable weekend tucked away in this cabin. Coffee is a few minute up the road along with the local market. We made steaks and had a candle lit dinner for two next to the fire. I WILL be returning regularly in the months to come. Thank you Marie and fam! 💜

The cabin in the woods offers a quiet and private retreat. The pellet stove is a great equipment in winter that allows you to enjoy the sight of flames without the hassle. The hot tub is an added bonus, providing a relaxing soak while you gaze at the stars under the night sky. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils, making it convenient to prepare meals during your stay.

My state is Airbnb was wonderful! The host was incredibly accommodating and provided excellent communication throughout the entire process. The location was ideal. Just a short walk from the ski mountain making it incredibly convenient to hit the slopes every day.

This was one of the most adorable cabins we’ve stayed in! It was very secluded and cozy just what we were looking for and our 10 yr old pup had a blast exploring in the snow. I think our favorite part was the little wood burning stove inside to warm up by :) Sherri was very welcoming and responsive to any questions we may have had. We hope to visit again soon and extend our stay a bit longer next time!
