Vacation rentals in Harome

I have been a few times now, me and my dog always enjoy our stay! Lovely cottage in good location!

The pictures - gorgeous as they are - don't do this property justice. The setting is private, tranquil, and everything one could hope for an escape to the Yorkshire countryside. Philippa and Andrew were welcoming and very responsive, and even treated us to a lovely and appreciated baked surprise upon our arrival! The location was convenient for our forays to the Dales, the Moors, and the city of York where we got to enjoy a wonderful Christmas Market. For Bronte fans, the Bronte Parsonage is not far, nor was the town of Grassington where the current "All Creatures Great and Small" series is filmed (the fictitious town of Darrowby). York is about a 40-45 minute drive. The farm next door sells fresh free range eggs, the ton pub is about a 10-15 minute walk from the house. Everything in the house was modern and clean, and the large dining table meant we could entertain guests. I literally cannot think of any way it could have been better. Best of hosts and best of houses!

Lovely stay in a cosy cottage! Great location, with really clear instructions on how to find the house in the little narrow streets. The fire was great for an evening, but not really needed as the house was very warm. Kitchen was spacious and very well equipped. Richard was great at communicating. We would love to return again soon!

A really lovely house, immaculately kept and in a brilliant location for enjoying all York has to offer without the need of a car. Everything we needed was to hand, and the owners were easy to communicate with, and had left useful and friendly instructions. My sons and I had a great few days, and I'll be recommending this house on to family and friends (and hopefully I'll be back there again myself!).

Perfect location. Right in the centre on a quaint street. Clean, comfortable and cosy. Had a lovely time.

Nice and cosy flat with everything we needed in a great area with the ease of walking to the shops. We would definitely recommend and would love to go back to Harrogate.

Catherine's apartment is ideal for a city break to York. The location (so close to the historic town centre) with its parking space and permit included, is a real asset to the place as driving and parking around town is very difficult. I love the attention to detail Catherine has paid to the decor. It is cosy, stylish and warm. The bed is made up beautifully and the mattress very comfortable. The accommodation is pristine and very tidy right down to the kitchen cupboard contents. Facilities are all very well provided. Catherine truly cares about her accommodation, and as a guest in return it is respected and very much appreciated. Thank you Catherine for accommodating our brief trip. We hope to return again.

Can’t recommend this place enough. The hosts were super responsive when messaged, polite, friendly and most of all helpful. The photos don’t do the accommodation justice. Views are beautiful even in rubbish weather. We had a fantastic night (before my wedding) it was perfect! Thank you for having us!
