Great guest house for a long weekend! we enjoyed access to the lake and the ability to use the pool and outside area. The guesthouse was clean and fully stocked with everything you could need. plus the hosts were great and very accommodating.

Lake front fun and relaxation

This was a quirky stay absolutely perfect for us. Please do read the description closely. It is a very good value stay, so it has some differences. The master is away from the other two bedrooms and had its own bathroom - LOVE! Everything was white glove clean, looked new, and worked well. The front door system also worked very well and was easy to use if you read the instructions. Don’t miss the bit about how to lock it from the outside. We had a very peaceful stay, a fun day of shopping in historic Jefferson, and two titian sunsets complete with herons and eagles. Definitely will stay again.

Beautiful location. Peaceful. A relaxing retreat for our family. We love this cabin but we’ve noticed somethings have been broken and not fixed which was a bit sad. So yes we see the repairs that need to be addressed but we love this cabin since it was a part of our family for so long and we are thankful to be able to visit.

We have stayed at Debra and Raymond's a few times and it is always wonderful. They're great hosts, don't invade your space to relax and are always right there when you need them. We can bring our pup and you can see deer morning and night. My husband left my clothes in a drawer one stay and I drove out there to get them as soon as I was able to. Debra had her friend meet me there to retrieve my items. The house is always clean and we will absolutely stay there again. Fantastic views and fishing on Lake O' the Pines with a floating dock that is perfect for fishing, listening to music or reading a book, and just chillin! We love this place!

Michelle was a lifesaver. After checking in to another place we realized it would not meet our expectations and needed to find somewhere ASAP. I immediately checked AirBnB and Michelle's home was the first to pop up. It was perfect for our needs. We were working an event in Winnsboro and wanted a nice place to rest in the evening. Her home provided that and much more.

The house was neat and clean with plenty of room. There were many amenities offered that are not found at other places- bottled water, toothbrushes with toothpaste, and so forth that Yesenia made available. The outside was gorgeous and peaceful with room to roam the pines and countryside. The shaded volleyball sand court was a hit with my wife and daughter. We loved the burn pits and outdoor lights- it was all so festive and welcoming.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Loved the decor and how close to the water it was. The bed was very comfortable and there was even coffe available fir my husband, we forgot to pack some. The only cons in our opinion was the lack of a path down the hill to the cabin. This could be a problem for those with mobility issues or if the ground was wet.

Beautiful lake-house, just like the pictures. Plus Skip is a great host, he was very accommodating and very flexible with our requests. The house is at such a great location, me and my family enjoyed every bit of it. Skip is an absolutely amazing host, would definitely love to come back here probably for few more days as the house is just perfect to get away and have a relaxing holiday.

Casa del Lago Azul was fantastic! So serene, beautiful place right on the lake! Wonderful dock with a bar, fridge, sink right on the water! All kinds of amenities! Situated in a quiet cozy spot. Being a displaced Texan living Illinois, Amy’s place was a little piece of home! On my travels back to East Texas I’ll certainly be looking for availability at Amy’s place! Kirk’s place is exactly as described. We went during a cold snap and it was very comfortable. The fireplace made it very inviting. The host is very responsive, even before booking. It is good to note that the home is also good if you have any wheelchair guests with you. The kitchen is also very well equipped, we had everything we needed. The view of the lake is peaceful. Perfect for birdwatching during the day and stargazing at night. I can imagine it would be beautiful during spring and summer.
