Beachfront vacation rentals in Hanford Bay

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect - very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and the location was amazing with views of the lake and easy access to a wonderful beach area enjoyed by all of us, probably especially our dog ; ) Everything was very well thought out in terms of anything you could need or may have forgotten, the kitchen was well appointed, and Paula was very kind and responsive. The location was very quiet and peaceful, and within an easy drive to Buffalo with lots of things to check out and Niagara Falls. We would definitely stay there again!

Had a nice snowy Thanksgiving stay at the Blue Canoe! 30 inches of snow meant we couldn’t explore the town much, but it was nice and toasty in the lake house. Our dogs were able to play in the snow and then relax as well. Kimberly made sure to check in and had the driveway plowed for us.

We took our two sons and dog to this beautiful location for Spring Break. Although the weather was chilly (we knew this going in!), we LOVED this area and the view of Lake Erie was amazing. This home is in a great location, very quiet, but also close enough to multiple destinations we wanted to visit - Ft. Erie Historic (5m), Niagara Falls (20m), Toronto (1hr30m), Buffalo (20m), Niagara on the Lake (35m). The kitchen had all the supplies we needed, there was a washer/dryer (I like to come home from vacation to minimal laundry to do!), the sunroom was nice, and the bedrooms were comfortable. Although we didn't have the best temps, we still really enjoyed the outdoor area and beach front. The outdoor area is great (big deck, grassy area for kids and dog to play, patio at the beach front to sit and enjoy the views, and the beach right at the water). The host was quick to respond, offered good details on the home and check-in/out, and made local recommendations. Thank you, we had fun!

Very cute and cozy cottage right near the beach. The host was very responsive and helpful and the cottage was very clean, which we really appreciated. The location was great with the beach just a short walk up and across the road. We loved walking up and down the beach and went a few times a day — our golden retriever was in heaven. It was relaxing and peaceful and a lovely place to get away from the noise of the city for a few days.

We had a great time at Cindy & Tracey’s cottage. It’s so peaceful and beautiful. Waking up to have coffee by the water while watching the sunrise was my favourite part. The cottage was clean and decorated nicely. It had everything we needed to cook nice meals and a big dining table to enjoy meals with friends. The large fenced yard was a hit for my dog, he also enjoyed the private beach where he could swim and zoom around. The hot tub was lovely, it felt like all your stress melted away. We left the cottage after a long weekend wishing we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us.

Beautiful home with a wonderful view from all the windows and especially the hot tub!! Very peaceful and relaxing. Hot tub was amazing overlooking the beach and water! Kitchen was fully stocked with items for cooking. Home has lots to offer. Katherine was very responsive and made everything so easy and so much fun! We highly recommend staying at Nickel Beach Resort! Will definitely stay there again. It’s an amazing home!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was beautiful and clean. We really appreciated all of the extras that the host provided like coffee, soaps and linens. We will definitely be back!

It is wonderful place to spend time with family and friends. The beach is connected to the backyard of cottage. Shores is visible from living room. The place get lots of sunshine around the day. The host also provides a golf cart to explore the beach which is very helpful.

We had a great time here! We used this Airbnb as a made for exploring Niagara falls and Niagara by the lake. We really liked having the golf cart to be able to drive around the area and overall we just had a really good stay here. As someone else mentioned, the hot water ran out pretty quickly as we have six people taking a shower every night. After we ran out of hot water the first night we simply decided to take shorter showers and then we didn't have a problem afterwards. The house is well stocked and has a very nice Weber bbq which I was very thankful for.

My family had a wonderful time in Nancy's beachfront home! I was traveling with my three children (7 - 9 years) and parents (77 yrs). Waking up every morning to the lake views steps from the water and being walking distance to kid-friendly activities within Sherkston Shores were a perfect blend of serenity and fun for everyone in our group. Nancy was a warm, welcoming host and very responsive any time I had a question. We are looking forward to the next time we return to Nancy's home!

Tasha is a great host with an amazing property in a perfect location. We had an amazing time and our family was sad to leave.

My only complaint was that Jaclyn did not have availability to extend my stay! Her place was amazing and she was the most accommodating host. We walked into a nice clean, cozy and air conditioned place after a long hot ride. Everything we forgot to bring she had available for her guests. Everything was a 10/10. I 100 % recommend her cottage for anyone looking to have a home away from home. I will definitely be booking with Jaclyn again next summer.

Nice property right by the lake. It was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed sitting by the water during the day and stargazing at night. If you enjoy cycling, very scenic and quiet road along the lakeshore (granted we went in the fall, summer might be different, but the speed limit is low so we felt safe). If you’d like to explore this area of Lake Erie, I definitely recommend Curtis’ place.

We really enjoyed our stay. Close to many wineries. Visited Ellicottville for the day. Walked both beaches. Deb was always in communication. So thankful for the kuerig!!

I cannot say enough about what a lovely experience I had at Mary Kay's M&M Lakeshore Retreat. I went for a week to rest, read and relax and it was absolutely lovely and so peaceful. There are many options of things to do, or do nothing at all - truly wonderful. The spot is beautiful, so inviting and so tastefully decorated with wonderful amenities and little surprises. I cannot wait to go back again for another visit! Thanks Mary Kay for being such a wonderful host!

Great house and the host is very responsive.

This is our favorite place to visit yearly!! The cabin is original, quaint and adorably decorated. We love all of the original features but it’s the property, location and view that will draw us back every single year!! There is nowhere like this locally that is rentable. We enjoyed our coffee by a morning fire while listening to the waves, took a short walk to our completely private beach with our dogs and spent the day looking for sea glass. The evenings were spent playing with our dogs on the large property, a nice dinner and watching the amazing sunset. We also built a fire in the evening and stared at the millions of stars in the sky while again listening to the peaceful waves. The beds were comfortable and the lighting made for a cozy feel watching some tv before bed. Really there are no words to express this place and Alexis who is just phenomenal, she is so pleasant, responsive and helpful!! You just have to see it to believe a place like this exists!! Our dogs loved it as well

I had a very nice week of R&R before the holidays at Dev's place :) Beautiful and a great reno in and out, the views are fantastic; it's like you're sitting on a dock you're so close to the lake. Everything really well set up inside as well, great kitchen for cooking. Would love to come back in the summer but definitely enjoyable year round :)

A very special place and people. This is one of a number cottages on 14 acres with private beachfront, community field/tennis court and countless water or land activities. Dense tree foliage surrounding the cottages lets you decide whether you would like some time to relax or socialize with the rest of the families. Deonna and Scott pride themselves in creating a fun and safe environment for kids, adults and dogs alike in this community. Both grew up in the area and live on-site with their 2 kids, always ready to provide recommendations for restaurants, shopping, farmer markets or day trips should you need a change from the on-site options. Cottage 4 has been remodeled and equipped with modern features like Central Heat/AC & Dishwasher and equipped with all we needed for our stay. It features a glass enclosed porch and a large open deck offering great views of the beach and lake while providing privacy with the large trees. From the master bed you can take in the beach through large glass doors or gaze at stars through the skylights. The Main bathroom boasts a cast iron bathtub to unwind after long day (not suitable for everyday showering). It offers bright living area and plenty of room for the kids and parents to spread out. The kids enjoyed the freedom to roam, make new friends, play at the beach or fields. Our dogs loved it probably more than anyone else! We enjoyed our time so much that we extended our stay twice, experiencing different cottages. Thank you Deonna & Scott for allowing us to join the Sugarloaf family and enjoy this new experience for us.
