This cottage is a little slice of heaven in the middle of the Shropshire countryside. None of the pictures do justice to the beautifully presented cottage. Victoria gave us some helpful instructions on how to get there and even though it is quite remote, it was easy to find. When we go it, Victoria had lit a fire for us and the cottage immediately felt cosy and like coming home. It is beautifully kep, decorated and really well equipped. The Aga was amazing and so convenient as well as keeping the cottage nice and warm. We had everything we needed to cook, make coffee and use. The bedroom has beautiful views, is enormous, and the bed is larger than life and so comfortable. We had a great night's sleep every night. The location is wonderful if what you want is beautiful views, access to country walks and the chance of stargazing on clear nights. Victoria was also super accommodating with our dog and he loved every second. We would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much

Our stay at Wetley Cottage was fantastic! The place has obviously been designed with care and thought in every detail! One of the most well stocked places I’ve ever stayed with everything you could possibly need! The whole cottage was very homely, cosy and comfortable. The outdoor areas had so many different options to sit and relax! Shetland ponies were an adorable bonus! Louise was so lovely and helpful! Even coming to tell us that the Northern Lights were visible! Plus many other super local recommendations! The place was private at the end of a lane. The surrounding nature was superb, we heard owls and saw many other interesting birds. I would recommend Wetley Cottage to all! Perfect in Winter and I imagine just as wonderful all year round!

I had a fantastic stay at Melanie’s place in Alton. The house was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained, just like in the photos. It was the perfect home away from home. Melanie was an outstanding host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful in guiding us to the best local spots and things to do. Her hospitality made our trip even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future!

We had a lovely weekend getaway with the family, we really enjoyed the surroundings and discovering the stunning views. A very memorable trip for us for sure and would come back for sure in the spring/summer. The house is super cozy and warm we enjoyed cooking there, having meals and having memorable time together and making memories. It was a true English experience and everyone enjoy their time . The location is very close to the station so it is easy to get in and out. I wish we had more time to explore. Glenys was a super welcoming host she made us feel at home and we thank her for her hospitality and attention to details. We hope to visit again soon.

A beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean with every amenity needed for a few days away. Spacious, well equipped kitchen and cosy lounge with log burner.Found it great with having dogs as there are two enclosed gardens and walks literally on the doorstep.Lots of doggy essentials provided including treats and a water bowl (which we forgot to pack, so thank you!). Great communication with the host too. We loved it!

Pamela made our stay a breeze. The location was easy to find, and entry to the property was as described. The local pub is very nice and offers really good food in the evening. I would recommend this as a place to stay for two or three couples or a family. Communication was great throughout. Thank you, Pamela. We had a great weekend in your very cozy cottage.
