Beach house vacation rentals in Hanalei Bay

Everything you’d expect and more! The host was incredibly generous, responsive and kind. The place is secluded but near places you want to be. Will definitely be back.

Our family of 6 (2 adults + 4 children ranging in ages 6 to 15 years old) had the the most magical stay at Hā’ena Place! The home was exactly as described, and even better in person! You can hear the crashing waves and see the ocean through the opening in the lush greenery. The grounds were beautiful and private and we loved the path to the beach. We walked it every morning and every evening. It’s a short walk around the corner of the beach to Tunnels Beach and is the most exquisite view! The water was a little rough one day since it’s winter but the second day we were able to snorkel at Tunnels and see fish and a sea turtle. They provided chairs and beach toys aplenty! The home is definitely off the beaten path, about 15-20 minutes from Hanalei dining and shops but we didn’t mind the drive because it was so beautiful! We visited many parts of the island for various excursions and we were always happy to come back to our little corner of heaven!

Loved this home! It was wonderful to stay with the beach right outside the back door. Our host was incredibly responsive. He has a guide book that provides all the information you need about the island. Would definitely like to return and stay in this lovely home.

Everyone left feeling rested. Anything we needed was addressed immediately. We felt well taken care of and the home was beautiful. We would stay again! Highly recommend!

Emily has been a very responsive host and we felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Appliances are all upgraded. Back view to the mountains is stunning as well as the view out the front of the house to the ocean. We highly recommend this place and will stay at this place again.

It’s a clean and spacious for 4 adults, and a nice location- walking distance to the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances for what we need. Also plenty of beach towels and beach chairs, inflatable tubes. My daughter loved sleeping with the sound of beach waves. Susanne responded to my questions quickly and kindly.

We absolutely loved this place. The beach was in the backyard—something to hard to find on Kaua’i—and the sunrises and sunsets were magnificent. We also loved the house which was even better than the photos and we loved the covered back porch. It was also really centrally located to do activities but also away from the highly tourist areas

Island coffee and fresh pineapple for breakfast, sunrise in the cabana and a run aling the bike path on the first morning and it only got better from there. Thanks Ellen!

Literally perfect. I can’t recommend this home enough. The decor was perfectly elevated bohemian. The appliances and kitchen were top tier. The garage made it feel safe for the car and any extra storage. There are the cutest bikes and beach towels. The bathrooms were perfection. Prestine towels suuuuuper clean. (That’s coming from a germaphobe). It’s a must stay. And the LOCATION. Happy friendly neighbors to the left and right. Incredibly safe area. Upscale to say the least!

We loved the place. It is more spacious and more beautiful than the photos make it look. It is very quiet too, and the pool is terrific (approximately 22yds long for any swimmers who are interested!). The neighborhood is nice for walking and at least three or four beaches are reachable by foot, some via trails. The kitchen is very well equipped with nice appliances and kitchenware. It’s so nice that we thought we had somehow ended up in the wrong property 😊. Thank you!

Beautiful place in a gorgeous neighborhood. Every conceivable item needed to cook was readily available. we travel to Kauai often and would gladly rent this place again.

Our family of four enjoyed Aylana and Michael’s place! It was super clean and had everything we needed for a restful trip exploring Princeville. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen with high quality cookware. The kids loved the boogie boards that were there for use! The balcony is truly magical and the space was truly so peaceful, we would definitely stay again. Thank you Aylana and Michael!

Spacious place great for a large family or a few families vacationing together. Walking distance to a grocery store and shops and a short drive to Hanalei. Would love to stay here again.

Wonderful stay at the Hawaiian style home. Fabulous short walk down to the coast. Enjoyed the pool. Convenient location.

This was our second stay at Michelle and Jared's lovely Princeville home. It's a great fit for our family of four (me and my husband + two adult kids) with plenty of space for gathering together and private spaces to enjoy apart. We cooked and grilled every day- there was not anything lacking in the kitchen. We enjoyed the swimming pool multiple times every day, and we did not need to have it heated. The living & dining spaces are perfect for family meals, playing cards, lounging & watching movies. And the views!!! We got delish food to go from Nourish Hanalei, just a short walk down the street. Having the washer and dryer was super handy for our week-long stay. The bathrooms all all well equipped with great water pressure in the showers. Great A/C in bedrooms. The only negative, which had nothing to do w/ the property, was that there are two homes being built across the street. Construction looks like it is nearing completion so this is temporary. We'd definitely stay again, 5 stars.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is nice and big, and the large kitchen was great. The dual washers/dryers were very useful. The surroundings were beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful setting and home! We loved staying on this part of the island—the air smells so lush and fresh and this location feels private and so relaxing. The house is lovely and is exactly as described. Deborah was an extremely helpful host for the questions that came up. Only thing I’d change is that I wish there were shelves in the bathroom closet area to unpack clothes since there isn’t a dresser.

Situated in the lush community of Princeville, this place is amazing, beautiful and gorgeous with a gym to workout in the garage. Host is very welcoming and very responsive in his communication.

We just had a great stay at Tiffany’s place! The house is very roomy and comfortable. The location is very private, and a nice change from the busier parts of the island. The bay at the end of the road is beautiful, although not really swimmable. There are an abundance of swimmable beaches nearby though. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay. Close to Hanalei & Princeville, which was a treat. Beautiful home with absolutely everything we could need and more. Beds were cozy and house was well kept. Supplies were generous. Beach toys/kids toys etc., were in great condition. Property was lovely and walkable to one of the most beautiful overlook. Would highly recommend this home.

Highly recommend! 7 friends stayed here and it was the perfect size for our needs. The kitchen well stocked with the basics and plenty of coffee. The beds were so comfortable. Had great water pressure and hot water. The garage had 7+ beach chairs 3 coolers 2 sun shades, and more. We did laundry for our wet swimsuits with ease. The outdoor shower was a godsend after the hike to remove our dirt. The backyard was peaceful and used the fire pit. Anything we needed we had. No ridiculous asks from owners. Fridge was spacious. What else can we say it made our trip to Kauai great! I was afraid of no AC but 100% it wasn’t needed the breeze is magical.

Just returned from a lovely weekly at Natalie’s place in Princeville. Natalie is an excellent host - she’s very friendly and responsive. We found the house to be exactly as described with clear instructions and thoughtful amenities (fans in each room & a welcome gift upon arrival). Her house is a quick drive away from Hanalei, but her immediate neighborhood is quiet and nice, and there are a few breakfast and coffee spots that are just a walk away. Overall we had an incredible trip to Kauai and would definitely return and stay here again!
