Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hamlin Township

The house was easy to access, surprisingly spacious and very tidy with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. The location was central to so many areas and attractions. The place was perfect for our girls weekend and we would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We had no issues and a very pleasant trip thanks to Jennifer.

Amazing place to stay at such a reasonable price! Very old home with necessary remodels, cozy with antique charm. Had just what we needed for a weekend stay.

We enjoyed our stay! The house was as described- very clean and nicely updated, in a quiet neighborhood. We saw gorgeous sunrises over the lake, and stunning fall colors all around. We even got to take the kayaks out to the island. We appreciated Brendan’s tips for the house and the area. The fully fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. Brendan was easy to communicate with and made sure we had a good stay.

Spacious home! With lots of bedrooms. Worked perfectly for my family and was less than 10 minutes away from a wedding venue.

I have stayed a few times over the past few years and always appreciate a chance to book with Kellie. Fast and clear communication, and also responsive to questions. Always stocked with the needed amenities, available for a great price and nearby to some local shops. Would recommend!

This place has it all if you are looking for peace and tranquility. A beautiful view of Hamlin Lake and trees surrounding the area. There is no way that you can go wrong here. Plan on spending at least 10 days in Ludington if you are a first timer. The Ludington State Park will keep you occupied for three days at least. If you are a boater, there are many places to rent one along the upper and lower bayous. In the summer, stretch out over the beach on lake Michigan a short distance away. All in all, the best place to stay in the Ludington area.

Barry and his home is so warm and inviting. Upon arrival - found a handwritten note welcoming me and that just made me feel right at home. No one does that anymore - that was so sweet. Home matched description and more. Loved cooking in the kitchen and I ended up asking to extend my stay to which was responded to immediately with a yes. I’m coming back! I just hope the place will be available for me to stay again because I suspect that I’d be back for a longer period of time next year. A must stay location.

Erin’s please was absolutely amazing. I had an amazing stay. I’m definitely gonna rebook to stay again in a few months during the summer for a weekend. I highly recommend this place and it’s a beautiful spot near the lake.

Great place, comfy, warm and well appointed. Highly recommended as a quiet lakeside retreat within walking distance of bars and restaurants. Will stay again in the future, great little up north lake town.

Andy's place was amazing and comfortable! This was probably our favorite stay on Airbnb! It was exceedingly clean, and it had everything we needed! Andrew was extremely friendly and WE WILL BE BACK! Look no further- it was super close to Bear Lake and a short drive to Crystal Mountain. I cant say enough about the cleanliness and hospitality! A+!!!! Thanks for everything, Andrew!

I can't say enough good things about the hosts and our stay! The apartment was pristine, honestly one of the cleanest AirBnBs we've ever stayed at. It's absolutely beautiful and huge, it's even bigger than it appears in the photos. We had everything we needed, and Marie was so very kind. She was very responsive while booking and helpful. The restaurant downstairs is also wonderful, we got takeout and ice cream every day of our stay. We would happily stay again, and plan to book for our next trip to the area.

We loved our stay here! Ken and Rhonda were the perfect hosts, they were very flexible with check in and check out times and available to us during our stay. The stay is in a renovated garage next to their house, but we felt like we had lots of privacy and the setting with the pond and lots of land is wonderful. Everything seemed new, clean, and comfy, with lots of games that our kid loved. We loved the location, it felt remote but was also very convenient to everything we like to do in the area!

Overall, our stay was fantastic! Abby's place was wonderful! it was tucked away in the woods/forest with the most beautiful landscape view! We thought our little place was a perfect home away from home. It was tucked away in the forest, but Abby's instructions made it easy to find! Also, an extra star for the high end bidet. 🙃

The condo was beautiful and very clean! It was super easy to find and get in/out of. There was plenty to do on the property and nearby!

Bob is a great host! This was our 3rd year staying at the Book Mark, we will be back next year for our annual fall get away!! The coffee & smoothies are fabulous, the baristas are so nice and helpful, the 10% discount on items in the bookstore is a great benefit and we try to take advantage of it each time we stay! The best place we’ve ever stayed at!! Thanks Bob & staff!!

This was a great place to stay! The townhouse was very clean and tidy and well decorated. It was very comfortable— great tv in the living room space, easy to adjust temperature in the space, lots of amenities (including items if you have small children). It was peaceful and easy to enjoy the natural surroundings. We also walked to the close by beach (only a quarter of a mile away). Sleeping bear dunes is an easy 1 hour drive away too. I highly recommend this listing and would not hesitate to return to it.

We had such a wonderful time! The location was perfect for exploring Frankfort and the rest of Northern Michigan. The place had everything we needed and great views! We hope to be back!

We selected this location because we were attending a wedding at BlueBridge Events Centre. the property said it was 5 minutes to the venue. it always took us 3 minutes! ironically, other family members were also staying in the same building, so that was a pleasant surprise! Jeff's place is also only 30 minutes to Frankfort and 40 minutes to Sutton's Bay, 20 minutes to TC! Ideal for a long weekend. There are a couple great hiking/running trails nearby, besides all the places Jeff recommended. The place was perfect! Extremely clean, up to date, and offered everything we needed. We will absolutely rebook when traveling to the area in the future!

Our house was very responsive, the space was very well appointed. Perfect location to explore Ludington. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved staying at "The Nest" hosted by Charlie and Suzy. Unbelievable views from the condo and balcony. Warm and aesthetically pleasing fireplace. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen had tons of cooking utensils. Very quiet and remote resort. The pool and hot tub were very clean and nice. Overall, an amazing experience!!!

Easy registration; unit as simple to enter as home; host and co-hosts friendly and neighborly; unit as shown if not better; well stocked for preparing and cooking; nice beds and bathrooms; wood floors throughout; nice windows with lake view; nice and serene grounds with best kayak launch I have ever seen - anyone could get in and kayak - seriously. I would easily recommend to a friend without reservation.
