Vacation rentals in Hallbankgate

We spoke to Janice a few times whilst we were at the cottage. Janice was lovely, extra friendly and very accommodating. We’ve visited previously and will be back very soon.

We have just returned from a weekend away at this beautiful villa for a family weekend away. Beautiful location with spectacular scenery on the drive in. The villa has the wow factor. Home from home, the hosts have thought of everything and we couldn’t think of a single improvement except for a guest book so we could write our positive thoughts and recommendations in person of places to visit in the area for other visitors to read. The kids loved the park, ducks and football court, they also loved reading in the villa and playing board games which were all in the villa to use. Myself and my partner enjoyed walking around the site and spending quality time as a family. We couldn’t recommend this villa or hosts more highly and we thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us so we could make forever memories to treasure. Stephanie, Scott and family 🙏🏻

We stayed here for a family get together, there was 16 of us, but it felt like there was plenty of space and lots to do in the house. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfy and the hot tub was lovely after a day of walking. Highly recommend!

A really beautiful cabin, super cute and a clean place to stay. We woke up for the sunrise with animals to look at. This was my favourite part. The hot tub was really nice and the cabin had everything you could need. The destination is a bit further more remote from most the popular places in the Lake District. However, this did not affect our stay as there is a town nearby and lots of walks. Also, it is only a drive away to more popular towns where you can drive through the beautiful countryside. We had a fantastic stay at Lizzie’s place. The property is just brilliant, so huge, really well equipped and a lovely outdoor space. We would definitely visit again!

Cottage was adorable, loads of space, really warm and cozy. Perfect location. The site was fab, loved the pool and games for children. Only thing was a couple of facilities out of order such as the sauna, steam room and gym. This didn't affect the children's enjoyment.

Excellent stay at Swallow Barn. An extensive amount of detail provided about the procedures during the stay and the airbnb itself. Ahmed was very responsive throughout and the pricing was good value.

The location around was very picturesque. The barn was lovely and homely, with lots of helpful information on the area around and things to do. Highly recommend staying here if you want a good base location for the peaks, lakes or even Scotland boarder! I also recommend the local national trust sites around.
