The Ilkley Hideaway Luxury Apartment in Central Ilkley

The Ilkley Hideaway is a private apartment based in central Ilkley only a few hundred metres from shops, amenities and the wonderful moor. The hideaway has off road parking and a private patio. We converted The Ilkley Hideaway in 2017 and have been welcoming guests ever since. I (Georgina) work for the NHS and Tom is a secondary school teacher- we live directly above the Hideaway with our young children Millie (3) and Hattie (1). We have had some amazing people stay over the years for cycling, walking, weddings and meeting family and love being able to host people in beautiful Yorkshire. The apartment is self-contained with its own entrance and parking. The accommodation offers: lounge/kitchen/double bedroom and en-suite. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, full size fan oven, and a ceramic hob. There is a breakfast bar and a comfortable lounge with sofa and sofa bed, TV, Wi-Fi, and a DVD player. The apartment has its own patio area, perfect for a coffee before your morning walk or an evening glass of wine. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. We pride ourselves on detail at the Ilkley Hideaway, there are some lovely little touches to discover; all designed to make your stay extra special. Walkers and cyclists are all welcome and there is bike storage. Regret no smoking in the apartment. Regret no dogs. Sleeping -1 double with en-suite shower room. -Large Sofa bed in lounge Cooking and dining - Breakfast bar - Fully equipped kitchen Social area -Large flat screen TV in lounge -Lounge has sofa and sofabed -Wi-fi. -DVD player. Outside - Patio and outdoor furniture. - Parking for 1 car We live above the apartment- we like to meet all the guests and show them around, we are on hand if guests should need us- however once checked in we like to give our guests their privacy. Walk to everywhere in Ilkley from this central location, including cafes, pubs, bars, and independent shops. Stock up at a supermarket 300 metres away. Go on picturesque outings to the surrounding moorland, and hike further afield in the Dales.

Relax & chill in our brand new caravan fully equipped for 6 people. Ramp, no steps. We've tried to add extra little touches. There's 2 bedrooms - 1 with a king size bed & en suite, the other 2 single beds. There's a walk in shower in the main bathroom. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge/freezer, oven & hob. There's a dining table with plenty of room for 6. The lounge has a 'U' shaped sofa and lots of space to relax, a smart TV and fire. The site has a river to swim or fish in, a pub & a cafe.

Decked sitting area to rear overlooking river canal & ,,waterfall depending on the rain ,,ideal for walkers & Wildlife enthusiasts winter or summer. We are approximately 15 /20 mins walk to Hebden Bridge to the local co-op supermarket or there is a Lidl & Morrisons in the opposite direct towards Todmorden about 10 mins drive away.

Definitely, the nicest apartment we have stayed in through Airbnb. Highly recommend. The whole apartment was spotless and was fully equipped. The beds were very comfortable. Communication was excellent. Location is amazing - shops, bars , restaurants and theatres are on the doorstep. Will be returning.

My family had a very lovely stay at the apartment. Melissa was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The apartment was the perfect size for my family of 5, cozy and beautifully furnished. The apartment is located in a nice part of Altrincham. The fact that it is a gated compound was a huge plus for us in terms of safety considerations. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip back to visit our family! We had a brilliant weekend stay in Michelle's family home, which was absolutely perfect as a base with our two children and grandma for a family wedding. The house is huge and beautifully decorated, and set up with everything you could need to entertain the kids (a stunning garden in the sunshine as well!). We loved the open plan kitchen space looking out onto the garden. Michelle was so helpful and brilliant at communicating with us, all the information provided was so useful. A wonderful home from home, really couldn't have asked for more. We would definitely stay again! Thank you so much xx

The corner cottage was the most idyllic, quintessential English cottage. You could feel the history of the building, with the exposed wooden beams and the large fireplace with the stove. Although, we found that we didn't have to use the stove at all in the end, as the temperature of the cottage was perfect. It's an ideal location, with the lovely, large Jacob Smith Park a short walk away, and a short approx 5 minute drive to the car parks in central Knaresborough, by the River Nidd. There's lots of lovely cafes and cute independent shops in Knaresbrough to visit and peruse. Georgina was an excellent host. Very approachable, friendly and responsive. I would recommend this AirBNB to anyone.

We had a lovely and very comfortable stay of 3 nights. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was really enjoyable spending time in such a spacious, tranquille space, in excellent condition, thoughtfully decorated, so well furnished and equipped, and needless to say spotlessly clean. We had a lovely 1 night stay at Shelly's home. Shelly is a fantastic host and gave really clear instructions on how to check in which was great for us as we arrived quite late. The house is really clean and cosy in a nice quiet area. There were really nice touches like tea, coffee and biscuits with cold cans of coke in the fridge. We felt really at home and would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay here with family for big birthday celebrations. Stunning house and views - matched the pictures! Very clean and cozy and perfect for a family with children as plenty of toys inside and out and very child friendly. Unfortunately hot tub wasn't working but Adam kept me in the loop whilst trying to fix it the week before and was very apologetic. Lovely host, very responsive and helpful. Didn't realise the host and his family actually live there and move out during bookings but it made it all the more homely! Would happily stay there again 🙂
