Beach house vacation rentals in Half Moon Bay

This is such a cool property right off the ocean, in a beautiful area of Pacifica. We received excellent instructions / recommendations and couldn’t have felt more welcomed and at-home. If you’re thinking about being in the area, I’d strongly recommend staying at this home. It’s clearly a passion for these hosts, with all the personal touches. Our only regret is that we only had two nights to stay this time. Hopefully, we’ll be back someday!

Great little house with access to freeway, restaurants, shopping, and most importantly the coast! House was well equipped and extremely clean - perfect for a family of four to explore nearby attractions.

Stefan was very communicative and helpful! His place is great for larger families or groups. Plenty of parking. The view and beach to tide pool steps outside the house were amazing! Kitchen was so nice to have 2 sinks and space for everyone to come together. It felt large enough for privacy and we had plenty of space. Heaters were nice to have. Would love to return!

Evan's place is absolutely phenomenal! This was our second time staying at the house and I would love to come back for the third time. The views are stunning and you are right on East Cliff Drive. Ton of people walking by everyday and enjoying the weather and beach. Super close to Capitola Village. We took advantage of the electric bikes in the garage. We had an issue with the hot tub but Evan was very responsive and addressed the issue. Great stay!

Amazing host and amazing Airbnb

Clean, well-appointed, spacious home less than a block from the beautiful Twin Lakes Beach. You can see the beach from chairs on the front lawn. We were lucky enough to be there during the lighted boat parade (first Saturday in December), so we watched the lighted boats in the water from the front yard. Everything was easily accessible. The home includes many amenities (washer/dryer, cooking supplies, games, pack n play). The room with the bunk beds has a separate bathroom, making it really nice for families with older kids. Great stay and I hope we can return.

Had a great stay here and wished that we had more than one night to enjoy all the thoughtful amenities & explore the area. I would definitely book again!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. I loved hearing the waves at night. The house was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay here again. The property is beautiful and close to restaurants, shops, and great walking trails.

Dania’s home was lovely! It was a wonderful place for a relaxing weekend away. It’s about a 15-20 minute drive into town from the home. The drive to and from town goes fast and is well worth the isolation and peace you get at the home. If you are a light sleeper you may want to bring an eye mask as the wonderful windows let in lots of wonderful natural light!

The condo was great. We had an issue with the master bathroom shower but Bjorn took care of it right away the same day that it was noticed. The location of this condo is perfect. Right on the ocean and within walking distance for dining, shopping, and several things to do on the ocean. Would recommend this condo to anyone.

We have been coming to Pajaro Dunes for 37 years. Our family loves it. This house needs some attending to. In one of the downstairs showers, the soap dish on the wall was broken. You need to be VERY VERY careful. My nephew cut his thumb and needed to get stitches. I was told I could check in before the rain started, but the office hadn't unlocked the house on their end. I had to drive back to the check in office and ended up getting wet while unpacking the car. Not the end of the world, but a little irritating. It took quite awhile to figure out the space heaters, some did not work. Kitchen pots and pans need updating - bring your own!! We had a great time and lots of great memories continue for our family.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this place! We used to live in the area and wanted a quick getaway — Crystal made the whole process simple. She was very responsive and provided clear instructions, making everything smooth from start to finish. The place looked exactly like the photos in the listing, and we loved being able to walk down to the beach to play all day, then wind down at night listening to the sound of the ocean. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay again!

The house is as advertised - super well located, extremely clean and well organized, and genuinely a very comfortable place to stay. I'd recommend it highly to anyone visiting Mill Valley!

Sarah's place was such a vibe! Could see the ocean's view in the backyard, and very near to the beach if you want to take a stroll. Also well located with Safeway just 5 mins away. About 30 mins to SF, and 20 mins to Half Moon Bay. Quiet neighborhood which was great for us.

Great Beach Access! What a lovely location, despite being located at a very busy 3 way intersection. It was nice to be able to walk across the street to the beach, or walk up the beach to grab a coffee, smoothie, bagel or dine at the Crow’s Nest. Or watch the seals in the harbor.

The house is absolutely amazing. It’s a short drive to restaurants and shops. The walk to the beach is only a couple of minutes. The ambiance of the house is warm and cozy. So many amenities were available including the indoor fireplace, the outdoor grill and fire pit, as well as bikes for the family. The outdoor space is perfect for dining. Even though it was a bit cold, the outdoor heater made it warm enough to stay outside at night. The host was extremely helpful and welcoming. Absolutely loved the house and we really hope to come again.

We had an amazing trip with our daughters family! We all absolutely loved the house and the area, and can't wait to come back and stay again!!! Janet was more than willing to do anything to make our stay perfect! It was my 50th birthday and she even hung up Happy Birthday banner for me :-) Thank you, Janet for everything! This is the 3rd Stinson house we have rented and the best! The location: on the beach, closest to town possible, easy parking, beautiful views from inside or out, perfect interior layout. We rent 3 to 4 house each year for our family of 7, ( I figure cheaper and more flexible than owning a vacation home) Tahoe for Christmas, Santa Cruz before Thanksgiving, Lake Arrowhead this summer and Hawaii for Thanksgiving 2025. Unlike a lot of places we stay, Jeff's place had good stuff! Beach chairs/toys, fry pans and utensils and good kitchen lighting! The place feels well cared for and supported! We hope to be back soon!

We had an A+ stay in this wonderful place. Well appointed (esp kitchen), very comfortable (esp beds!), lovely touches in every room, great location. Communication with Domonique was terrific - very responsive and helpful. Just a great stay!!!

En easy breezy (literally, great ocean breeze) for a family of 4 teens and two parents to stretch out and enjoy one another and our own spaces. Hot Tub was a crowd pleaser. Steve was a clear communicator.

We had a lovely stay. The proximity to the beach and location in Santa Cruz were great. It was ideal for walks to and on the beach. The Boardwalk was close by via car as were a good selection of restaurants and shopping downtown. The house was clean and thoughtfully outfitted. Thanks!!
