A peaceful place to stay as a base to explore Lan Ha Bay. A cluster of around eight small villas run by a lovely husband and wife couple. The wife speaks good English. It is a 20 minute drive from the main Cat Ba town, so we were pleased that they offer yummy home cooked meals for a reasonable price. A simple complimentary breakfast included. They helped us to organise two tours in Lan Ha Bay - a bioluminescence night tour and a day tour (which included a buffet lunch on the boat, cycling in Viet Ha village, kayaking, swimming). The second tour was run by Serenity Cruises and was especially well organised and amazing! We are a family of four, two adults and two children and when we informed them that the sofa bed in our room was far too hard for our kids to sleep on, they received our feedback well and offered us an additional fold out bed for free. We were impressed by the way they handled this and we left content with our stay.

She is a really good host and local with some very good recommendations. So as guests, you should definitely get some advice from her! She is super nice and super friendly. About the accommodation: our apartment was well-located and had a very nice view on the Ocean, but it has been used a lot. Nevertheless the description is matching and the stay very enjoyable. Every other activities, like the pool costs are not included. I still would recommend this airbnb.
