Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Tiny in size but so much to love, our thoughtfully made off-grid cabin features panoramic winery valley views and unique personal touches making your stay extra special.

Take it all in soaking in a warm bath on your own private deck, plus a Queen bed, you are surrounded by nature yet still walking distance to 3 award-winning wineries, a hatted restaurant feat. a wine list of "local stars, international pours and a local bracket of curious jewels". Close to beaches and wild coastal nature areas.

The space
The Zendigo Tiny Retreat is Sarah’s home; made with love, and lived in. A very personal design, where the handcrafted central island is the heart of the cabin. A cabin for a cook, a wine lover, a cabin where you feel so cosy inside, looking out to the view of the valley with a glass of delicious wine in hand, shaking some pans to sauté your onions and garlic, making a gorgeous meal from all the amazing produce the Mornington Peninsula has to offer.

It is a place of slow connection. The fire takes time to build, the hot water takes time to boil on the stove, the bath takes time to fill. If you want quick and convenient, this is not the place for you. If you are after gentle re-connection, to experience living off-grid, solar power, careful sustainable living and natural beauty, then this is the perfect place for you. We ask you to bring that mindset of calm, patience and adventure to your stay.

The sweeping valley views are yours to enjoy from your private deck, and the 11 acres of rolling paddocks are also yours to explore. There are sheep grazing, so please ensure you always lock the gates as you pass through, aka 'farm rules'.

The tiny is located in the top paddock of a working farm, near the farm gate to the quiet country road, providing you easy walking distance access to your car. Please note, it is not isolated in the bush in the middle of nowhere, but you will feel in your own little oasis once you arrive.

Guest access
You have exclusive access to the tiny house and your own private deck during your stay. You also have access to the surrounding 11acres of paddocks - the perfect spot for a picnic with winery views. Strictly no events, parties or external guests other than confirmed guests.

Other things to note
* Yes, we do GIFT VOUCHERS, they are a beautiful full colour printed DL sized card and envelope, and can be mailed to you to give :) Corporate rates also available for bulk team or client gifts.
* For safety reasons we do not allow infants or young children on the property at this time.
* The interior mini-stove is available for heating needs and wood is provided, so you will be cosy on cooler nights, please feel welcome to ask about usage if unsure.

OUR STORY
Before it was Zendigo Tiny Retreat, the tiny cabin that started it all had another life…

A chance conversation between two amazing women, Zoe and Sarah, at Kerri Greens Winery in Red Hill, led first to a friendship. Then, while Sarah was designing and building the original tiny cabin (with her own hands) Zoe offered to share a piece of her family's land, in the spirit of the overall future vision for her family property - to become home to special spaces and places for people to stay.

Sarah heralds from Bordeaux, France and has been living in Australia since 2014. Her unique design aesthetic, deep love for cooking, food and wine, and cherishing beautiful things when she sees them, she has gone on to start her company Fall Design while studying a Bachelor of Interior Design, to continue her journey of making and creating beautiful things.

Sarah’s own building and making skills have been developing since first starting to build the original tiny in 2021, with close to no building or design experience. Over several years she gained additional knowledge working in carpentry for Darling Builders and cabin building and design experts Base Cabin. In 2024, she finally felt she knew enough to make this cabin just perfect for you to stay. A design for a short term experience is quite different in nature than a design for full time living, so a unique balance and re-design was required.

The Zendigo tiny is Sarah’s home; made with love, and lived in. Her generosity in sharing this space is to be treasured.

Zendigo Tiny Retreat is managed sustainably, and is respectful and nurturing of country. Giving back to nature - giving and not just taking, is paramount - it’s why we are off-grid and trying to leave as light a footprint as we can on the beautiful nature we are surrounded by and that our guests enjoy.

Respect for the history of the First Nations people’s land we are on, and the wisdom of Elders past, present and emerging are part of our education and deep listening, and continue to inform our decision making in all ongoing work we undertake.

We hope Zendigo Tiny Retreat is enjoyed deeply by you, our very special guests, as much as we have deeply enjoyed creating it. Let the story for us all continue…

I'm a curious, positive person that loves connecting with people, good food, nature, art & design. An avid reader, there's always a high rotation of books in the tiny's book pile. I love to explore. Favourite places inc: Galapagos Islands, The Veluwe (Netherlands), Two Harbours (MN, USA), Bay of Archichons (France), Kampot (Cambodia), Aconcagua Valley (Chile), Stavanger (Norway), Kakadu (NT, Australia) & of course - Red Hill (VIC, Australia) ;)
