We just aim to be comfortable
It is not large, flashy and convenient
It does not provide excessive services

Here is surrounded by nature near Miyara River, Ishigaki Island.
There are no shops and restaurants nearby.

Because it is surrounded by nature, please consider if you are afraid of insects.

Smoking is prohibited everywhere.

The space
Our facility, "Yohaku," consists of Hanare (1 building) and Koya (2 buildings), which are introduced on this page.

For details about Koya, please refer to the separate page, not this page.

Due to the system, we cannot post a link here, so please see the "Yohaku," profile.

If you make a reservation through a reservation site, an additional fee will be charged, so it is more economical to make a reservation through our website or nstagram (@yohaku__________).

Below is information about Hanare.

The maximum capacity is 4 people, but we think it is just right for 2-3 people.
There are 2 single beds, and if you add an extra futon, you will use it on the Japanese-style room (floor).

For 1-2 people, you will be provided with beds,

and for 3 people, you will be provided with 2 beds + 1 futon.
If you have small children or would like the following combination for health or physical reasons, please let us know by the day of your stay.
・1 person who wants a Japanese-style room

・2 people who want to separate the Japanese-style room and a bed

・2 people who want Japanese-style room 2

・3 people who want to separate Japanese-style room 2 and bed 1
In this case, we will not provide bedding for the unused beds.

Because we are privately managed, unlike hotels, we do not have a 24-hour front desk, but we will do our best to help you have a memorable trip.

Please use it as if it were a rental villa.

If you have any problems during your stay, please contact us and we will respond and deal with them as soon as possible, but please understand that we may be delayed in our absence or late at night.

We aim to provide a space where people in their 30s and above can relax and spend time quietly.
As for children, there are many delicate items in the room, so although the basic information states that it is "not suitable for children," you can stay there.
When making a reservation, please also inform us of the age of your minor children.
Although the items are generally not placed in places where children can easily reach them, please handle them with care.
(This is a good opportunity to experience art works, so please tell your children what it's like before your stay and let them experience it together.)

The facility is not barrier-free in structure, but we would like to help you as much as possible.
If you wish, we will explain the specific flow of movement in advance in a meeting.

We do not provide meals, but there is a kitchen in the room.
We have tableware by artists, so please feel free to use it.

Basic cutlery, cooking utensils, and seasonings are provided.
We also have a kettle, pot, frying pan, rice cooker, and toaster oven.

We provide towels and shampoo.
Please bring your own pajamas and toothbrush.
In order to eliminate waste as much as possible, we ask that you use soap even if there is very little left.
In order to avoid putting a burden on the environment through wastewater treatment, please refrain from putting bath salts or soap in the bathtub.

We provide bottles of drinking water, so please refrain from purchasing plastic bottles as much as possible.

Please also cooperate by bringing your own bottle.

There is also a courtyard for guests only, which we think will be a treat for the eyes.

(Please refrain from entering the planting area)

There is no TV.

Wi-Fi is available.

Mobile phone signals are unstable in the rooms.

We ask that people other than those who have made reservations refrain from entering the rooms.

In addition, we generally do not allow people to view the rooms.

If you absolutely must, please contact us.

Our home building is located nearby.

We have three children, and although we are of course considerate of them, they may sometimes be noisy. We would appreciate your understanding.

Guest access
We live on the same property.
We would like to respect each other's privacy.
Please let us know at the time of booking if you intend to use the space for commercial purposes (such as using it as a studio or broadcasting on SNS, etc.).

There is also a garden for guests' use, but access is limited to the wooden deck; we ask that you refrain from descending into the planted area beyond that.

We also ask that people other than guests refrain from entering the garden.

Where you’ll be

Ishigaki, Okinawa, Japan

There are few shops in this neighborhood, so it's not convenient.
It gets very dark at night.
However, you can enjoy mangroves while kayaking on the nearby Miyara River, and the promenade in front of the inn is lined with palm trees, which is very pleasant, and you can see the starry sky at night.

Also, if you have a rental car, you won't have any problems sightseeing. Even if you don't have a car, there is a bus stop just around the corner, and you can get to the city center and a large supermarket on a single bus (the last bus leaves the city center around 9 pm).

Family Mart is a 3-minute drive or 20-minute walk away.

---- Nearby shops ----

Nonbiri Cafe
A cafe on a hill 5-6 minutes on foot. Their pizza is delicious.
It seems that only one pizza can be baked at a time, so it takes time to serve.
It is often crowded, so I think it would be nice to call in advance.
Last order is early at 3 pm.

Green Flash Cafe
A cafe with a beach culture, about a 10-minute walk away.
You can use it for breakfast, lunch, tea time, early dinner, and more. 10-minute walk.
9:30 am - 6:00 pm (Last order 5:00 pm). Closed on Wednesdays.

---- Supermarkets and markets, etc. ----

Yurateiku Market
This shop offers fresh vegetables, fruits, and specialty products from the Yaeyama Islands.
Recommended for rice ingredients and souvenirs.
It is located in the city center. (About 20 minutes by car)

San-A
Big supermarket. About 10 minutes by car. You can also get there by bus.
There is also a Daiso, a main store, and a MaxValue nearby.

Marha Fresh Fish Shop
Right next to the remote island terminal.
You can buy items such as sashimi and tempura.
I think it's good as a side dish for dinner, but it's often sold out in the evening.

Where I went to school: 京都大学
I lived in Kamakura from the time I worked in Tokyo, avoiding urban living. In Kamakura, we ran a small accommodation by the sea with few tourists for about 10 years, but I wanted to live in the tropics, so I moved to Ishigaki Island and opened the "margin". Since I was a student, I've been traveling both domestically and internationally, and I've been traveling to Okinawa, especially Ishigaki Island.I am living in Hyogo, Kyoto, Nara in my childhood, and I have experience running an inn in Osaka and Kyoto in that relationship. I like nature, of course, but I also like urban things like art and cafes. Instead of completing your booking with a few clicks to welcome you on the day of your stay, we hope you know what kind of facilities you are communicating before your stay, preventing you from being mismatched, and even building trust through that interaction. I live in the adjacent building, so I hope that for you, we can share a comfortable space for us when it feels good for both of us. Please let us know if you are interested in relocating places to restaurants, itineraries, or if you are interested in relocating.
