Welcome to Wild Acres Farm!
Escape the noise and unwind in our peaceful "treehouse", a private apartment tucked behind the large oak tree on our family farm (hence the name, Treehouse). Elevated above the property, this cozy retreat offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, making it ideal for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, or anyone looking to slow down and reconnect with nature.
Wake up to birds singing, sip your morning coffee on the covered porch beneath the oak tree, and spend your evenings watching the sunset before settling into a peaceful night's sleep.

This private upstairs apartment features:

The warm wood floors, soaring ceilings, and farmhouse touches create a peaceful space that feels like a true retreat.
Sleeping 4? We have a queen size floor mattress available if needed. This mattress is a "CordaRoy" so the mattress is inside the bean bag. You will find this in the living room corner. Please let us know if you'd like to use it and we can have it set up for you. Keep in mind it takes up quite a bit of the space in the living room but when not in use, it can be put up against the wall as a "floor couch".
Please note:
*This apartment is located above a play room and craft room. While it is not always occupied, you may hear some noise from time to time. But it isn't very loud- just muffled sound.
*Only one window in the living room. No window in the bedroom.
~On the Farm~
Wild Acres Farm is a small family farm where you'll experience the beauty of country life. Depending on the season, you may see:

🐈Barn cats

The apartment is private, but you'll occasionally see us caring for the animals or working around the farm. We also homeschool our children so they may be out and about.
We have hammocks and seating throughout the property you are welcome to use. Nap, relax, watch the birds, or just swing for a bit.
You are welcome to visit the animals. Please do not chase any of the animals, stay on the outside of their pens, and do not put any part of your body in their mouths. All of our animals are friendly but all have the ability to bite, nibble, or eat your shirt.
We have trails in the back of the property that you are welcome to explore. You are in nature and may encounter critters, venomous and non-venomous, that call the outside their home. Please stay aware of your surroundings.
You will find an outdoor fire pit that you are welcome to use. Please keep all fires inside the fire pit only. No fires will be allowed during a burn ban.
We have plenty of outdoor games available for adults and children. Frisbee golf, gaga ball, volleyball, corn hole, connect four, dice, and more.
Our garden area is currently under construction. Please excuse our mess.
~Parking~
Our gate is currently broken. Just push it open and drive straight back and park in front of the parking sign. You will see the stairs to your treehouse from that spot.

~Extras~
We have farm fresh eggs daily. If you would like some, we will collect them and have them ready for you upon arrival. They are $4/dozen.
We homeschool our children so it will not be uncommon for the kids to be outside from time to time.
We have 4 other dwellings on the property- our main house near the Treehouse and in the back you'll find the shop, a small cottage, and a smaller home. You have access to all areas of the property if you want to explore the trails in the back, visit the animals, fire pit, or play area. Please don't enter any other dwellings on the property except for the Treehouse.
This apartment is accessed by one flight of exterior stairs. Because you're staying on a working farm, you may hear friendly farm animals during the day and occasionally in the morning. We think it's part of the charm!
Guest access
You have access to your apartment and the outside of the property. The other homes and shop are all occupied. Please do not enter any other rooms or houses on the property.
