Welcome to Waterside Lakehouse on the shores of Lake Erie and nestled among the EPIC Wineries of Essex County. Take in the magnificent views of Lake Erie from the 'infinity deck' or take a short walk (5 min.) to the public beach, harbour and marina in the Village of Colchester. The harbour features a park with a splash pad for the kids, pirate ship climbers and a pier that can be the perfect spot for fishing. You are minutes away from a number of the best Ontario wineries. Enjoy!

The space
Wake up to Lake Erie. The Waterside Lakehouse sits right on the water and the infinity deck overlooking Lake Erie is the kind of thing guests talk about long after they leave. Morning coffee out there. Evening wine. A fire in the pit as the sun goes down over the lake. It's that kind of place.

The Space
A modern, open-concept lakehouse with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and room for up to 6 guests comfortably. Two Kings and a Queen means everyone sleeps well — no one gets the short straw here.

The Deck & Outdoor Space
The infinity deck is the heart of this property. Designed to face the lake, it's where most guests spend the majority of their time — and honestly, we get it. Add the fire pit for evenings and you've got everything you need without ever leaving the property.

Walk to Everything
You're on the lake, but you're not isolated. Colchester Harbour, the public beach, splash pad, and park are all within walking distance — so whether you want a lazy morning on the deck or an afternoon at the beach with the kids, both are completely doable.

Wine Country at Your Doorstep
The Waterside Lakehouse sits in the heart of the Lake Erie North Shore wine appellation — Ontario's sunniest wine region and one of Canada's most underrated. You're minutes from CREW (Colchester Ridge Estate Winery), Colio Estate Winery, and Oxley Estate Winery, among others. Pick up an EPIC Passport at your first stop for complimentary tastings across the route.
Most guests come for the lake and leave with a new favourite winery. The Wine Bicycle Trail runs right through the area if you'd rather pedal between patios.

We are are short walk (5 min.) to Colchester Harbour where there is a public marina, pier, public beach, splashpad and park with play equipment for children. Our EPIC (Essex Pelee Island Coast) wine country has so much to offer wine enthusiasts, foodies and more. Whether by bike, trolley, or car, visit all of the EPIC wineries for an unforgettable experience. Make day-trips and be back at the Lakehouse to watch the beautiful sunsets on the back deck.
