Other things to note
We’re thrilled to share this special property with you! To ensure a wonderful experience for everyone, here are some tips:

Wildlife Viewing

For the best chance to see wildlife, marine animals like whales, seals, and orcas are most active during tide changes, so check tidal charts to plan your viewing. Early mornings are a great time to spot eagles in the treetops or seals in the water.

Turn off all interior and exterior lights to fully enjoy the stunning, star-filled night sky. Eliminating light pollution will give you the clearest view of the stars.

The patio light switches are outside the kitchen door and outside the sliding door. Please be so kind as to turn the patio lights off by 9 PM.

Woodstove

We have wonderful cozy heat but if you want Northwest wood stove ambiance there are Duraflame fire logs at the home for $5 each (half the price of stores).

Power Outages

Sometimes during storms we experience short 15-30 minute power outages. We can bring you a battery for the WiFi and power, and during the outages fire logs are complimentary.
