Welcome to the Walnut Beach Inn! This centrally-located, updated Victorian is just steps away from the entrance to Walnut Beach which is located about a block away. Great for families with kids, this 4 bed/2 bath retreat is within walking distance to the beach and the historic Ashtabula Harbor District. We also have a large freezer chest for fishermen!

The space
This 4 bedroom/2 bath home provides ample space for up to 11 guests. One main floor bedroom with a queen size bed and a main floor full bathroom with stackable washer and dryer. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and another full bathroom. One bedroom with a king size bed, one bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds (sleeps 4), and the last bedroom with a queen size bed and a single bed. Outside you will find a newly installed stamped concrete patio great for gathering with your whole group and a fire pit for relaxing in the evening! Enjoy a beautiful view of the lake and Walnut Beach right from the patio!!

Other things to note
The backyard has a view of the lake and Walnut Beach. There is not beach access from the backyard. The entrance to Walnut Beach is about a block away. You can walk to Walnut Beach from the house by going down the sidewalk toward the entrance. There is a large public parking lot that is located closer to the beach so it would be much easier to drive and park there if you are taking a lot of things with you to the beach. At the bottom of the hill behind the house, there is a drinking water treatment facility that does not obstruct the view of the lake. It is a quiet and odorless facility.
The house was built in 1900. Due to the age of the home, there are many historic details, but also some quirks. For example, the stairs leading to the second floor curve toward the top. We ask all guests to go slowly and be careful when going up and down the stairs. For guests who have difficulty with stairs, there is a bedroom with a queen size bed and a full bathroom with shower stall on the first floor.
