Welcome to the Wallace Gem! Experience the historic town of Wallace at this beautiful 3 bed 1 bath home located just 1 mile from downtown. This home is the perfect basecamp for all your Silver Valley & North Idaho adventures. Whether you’re hitting the slopes at Silver Mountain, touring the local mines, riding the Hiawatha Trail, or just exploring the downtown boutiques, this is the home for you. The home also has 2 portable AC units which easily cool this gem during the hotter summer months.

The space
ATTENTION Off Road Enthusiasts and Snowmobilers! This home has a nice long driveway, so there is plenty of room for your truck, trailer, snowmobiles and OHV's.

Kitchen: Beautifully renovated kitchen is complete with ample storage space, stainless steel appliances, and equipped with everything you need to cook a delicious home cooked meal. For your convenience, the kitchen is also stocked with a rice pressure cooker, crock pot, baking sheets, a blender, and an electric mixer. We also provide additional amenities such as towels, soaps, coffee, variety of spices, and smore’s!!

Dining: Gather around the dining room table and enjoy meals with your loved ones. Right next to the dining area, you’ll find a bar stocked with additional drinking glasses, a wine cooler, as well as a beautiful wood bar top with lumber reclaimed from the home, and two bar stools.

Laundry Room: There is a laundry room located right next to the kitchen that feature a brand new washer and dryer. Laundry soap and dryer sheets are available for guests to use.

Living Room: Unwind in style after a day spent exploring the Silver Valley in the beautiful living room, complete with plush seating for six, chaise lounge couches, and a smart TV. Guests can access the bathroom from the living room.

Guestroom #1: Offers a comfortable Queen-sized bed, a closet, and a smart TV so guests can stream their favorite movies and TV shows. Guests will also have a private entrance into the bathroom from this bedroom.

Guestroom #2: Located Upstairs, the second bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed and a smart TV.

Guestroom #3: Located Upstairs, the third bedroom is complete with two twin-sized beds.

Backyard: Step outside and enjoy the backyard oasis! Guests are welcome to cook up something tasty on the propane BBQ, or nestle next to the warm and inviting firepit for a relaxing evening. After a long day hitting the slopes or mountain biking come back to the Gem and enjoy a G-7 series Hot Tub with seating for up to 7, including two lounge seats. The hot tub also has a bluetooth stereo system to enjoy your favorite tunes.

Garage: The garage is accessible for guests to store their bikes, skis, snowboards or any other personal belongings they wish to have secured while staying at the home.


ATTENTION GUESTS!

The backyard at the Wallace Gem is meant for your enjoyment during your stay. We realize that the hot tub and fire pit may be a couple reasons you chose to stay with us, and we want you to take full advantage of both, however please be respectful of the neighbors when using the backyard space.

Quiet Time hours at the Wallace Gem are 10pm-8am. Guests are not permitted to be in the backyard after 10pm or before 8pm. This includes no use of the hot tub or fire pit, or loud music. Unfortunately due to noise complaints from prior guests we had to put these rules into effect.

Any violation of this rule will will result in being asked to leave the property prior to your agreed checkout date. Guests will also not receive any type of refund if asked to leave early due to noise complaints.

The neighbors want you to enjoy your time here as well so please be respectful of the place they call home.

*Silver Mountain Resort, 15 minute drive - Water Park, Snow Skiing, Mountain Biking, Gondola Rides, Dining and Golfing at Galena Ridge Golf Course.

* Hiawatha Trail, 60 minute drive - 15 miles long bike trail with 10 train tunnels and 7 sky-high trestles. Bring your own bike or rent theirs.

* Downtown Wallace, 4 minute drive - Dining, breweries, shopping, wine tasting, shopping and events.

* Lookout Pass, 15 minutes - Snow Skiing (Great for families)

The home is fully accessible and even has some garage space for storage of bikes, skis and snowboards.

As your host I insist you come to the Gem to relax and enjoy the town of Wallace and the surrounding area. Northern Idaho is a very special place for me, my friends and my family.
