Welcome to my stylish split level period apartment in the historical heart of Oxford - Straight after a complete refurbishment. Located on a quiet residential road just 10 min walk from Magdalen school and university colleges. Fantastic range of pubs and restaurants within 100m and only a 25 min walk to Churchill hospital and Ashmolean Museum. 5 min walk to Oxford Tube - direct bus route to London and airports. 5-10 min taxi ride from Oxford Train station. 40 min walk John Radcliffe hospital.
The space
Elegant and thoughtfully designed for all your needs during your stay. Located on a residential street but within short walking distance to all landmarks with a great range of pubs and restaurants located very close by.
Whilst completely refurbished it retains the original character of a Georgian / early Victorian home. You will also find a collection of historical photographs of the Victorian British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill and university varsity races.
The split level flat is located on the entire first floor of this period property and has been completely refurbished to provide everything an Airbnb apartment needs. It has a secure entrance with video doorbell and a private staircase. Going up the thick carpeted stairs you reach a compact kitchen equipped with all your needs during your stay - including hob, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and combi oven. I supply tea and coffee, butter, jam, olive oil and other essentials for your stay. Kitchen table doubles as a work desk with useful shelves, sockets and laptop connection to a smart screen TV. Beautiful original bentwood chairs are over 50 years old but still make you feel comfortable during dinner or work.
The back kitchen door opens to a small balcony with a mini herb garden. At the end of the kitchen you will also find a newly refurbished compact and functional bathroom with a high pressure shower, aged designer tiling and essentials - cotton pads, soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel etc.
Just several steps further up the stairs you will reach the landing leading to the bedroom, living room and reading nook. Beautiful wooden floors are covered with carpets to minimise the noise.
In the bedroom you will find a contemporary four poster bed with a luxurious mattress and plenty of space for your luggage and clothes. Plenty of cushions and hotel quality pure Egyptian cotton linen will guarantee you a good quality rest. 12 pane original sash windows in the bedroom and living room are dressed with roman and blockout roller blinds to protect your sleep.
In the living room you will find an entertainment area with an L-shape sofa in front of a smart TV and two traditional leather wing armchairs around the games table and well stocked bookcase with Sir Winston Churchill printed works as well as popular board games. The cabinet displays my grandparents Wedgwood china tea and coffee sets which are for decoration purpose only. You can connect to music speakers in the living room. The sofa doubles as an additional guest double bed with a luxurious mattress topper stored with the bedding set inside the sofa. The centerpiece of the lounge is a non-working early Victorian fireplace.
Reading nook is located at the landing and can be accessed via a small step ladder fixed next to it.

Parking is on street for load purpose only. As many town centres parking here is reserved for resident permit holders only and monitored by wardens. There is a council parking Union street car park across the road (2 min walk) or at St Clemens (5-10 min) walk. In some cases I would be able to provide with visitors parking cards at additional cost.
