Vista Bay is the perfect getaway on the west coast of the Island! Located in the liveliest fishing village full of hustle and bustle to make your getaway a memorable one! Some of the best restaurants and bars within walking distance. A short drive to Buye Beach, Boqueron and Combate. Vista Bay will have you wanting to keep the party going as you will be in the middle of it all.

The space
This two bedroom air conditioned apartment on a second floor will be perfect for a couple or family to enjoy a stay in Cabo Rojo located on the west coast of the island. There is a full living room, dining room and large kitchen to ensure everyone is comfortable. With a bright and airy feel, you'll be sure to want to stay and linger.

The private outdoor living space is equipped with a gas grill, hammock, bistro set and rocking chairs. Enjoy your morning coffee as you see the sun reflect off of the boats on the bay! Enjoy people watching as you swing on the hammock. Enjoy drinks and cheer into the night as you hear the music from the nearby bars and restaurants! Take a walk and partake in the hustle and bustle that Puerto Real has to offer! Fresh seafood made to order or to buy and cook yourself from the fresh market! There is something for everyone!

The kitchen is equipped with pots and pans, dishes, glassware and utensils to ensure meals can be comfortably made! There is a fridge, microwave, toaster oven and drip coffee maker provided.

This is a typical Caribbean home in which there is only hot water in the shower through a shower head water heater. The rest of the sinks do not have hot water available. The heat keeps the water from coming out too cold so no need to fret! You probably won't even notice!

There are separate air conditioning units in the living space, and bedrooms to ensure you can manage the temp to your liking. It cools off really quickly so we simply ask that you only run the AC while in the apartment!

Guest access
Guests will have access to the apartment located on the second level. There will be a closet located in each bedroom that is not accessible. Please do not try to access closed closets. There are also stairs to the roof that are strictly off limits. Thank you for your cooperation.

Other things to note
The area is very loud especially on the weekends with sounds of dogs, roosters, cars, music etc! If you are a light sleeper, this may not work for you! We provide you with earplugs to help should you need them.

The island’s power infrastructure has a lot of issues. There are constant power outages that we cannot control unfortunately. Power outages can and do occur in sections and can last a few minutes to hours at a time.

We are located approximately 1 hour from the airports in Aguadilla and Ponce and about 2.5 hours from San Juan.

We do not charge a cleaning fee. However, we do ask that you wash any dishes you used during your stay and you put the garbage outside when you check out. The blue garbage bins are located at the bottom of the staircase. They may also be placed on the outside of the gate near the steps if it is trash day. Please do not leave dirty dishes in the sink or garbage in the apartment as it will attract ants and bugs! Please simply fold the sheets on the bed and used towels may be placed in the bathroom. Please help us to keep our space affordable by leaving it the way you found it!!!

Where you’ll be

Puerto Real, Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico

This is a lively fishing village right on the Bay of Puerto Real. There are more locals than tourists in this area. Many of the locals aren't wealthy but they are kind and good natured. The streets and the sidewalks are narrow! It is very busy and noisy during most times of the day. Our building is also located right next to Plaza del Pescador where outdoor events may be held. At night, there is noise from the traffic and people coming into the street to go to the restaurants and local bars. You are sure to hear music, people, cars, dogs and roosters at all hours. If you are a light sleeper, this is NOT the place for you! If you are ready to enjoy nightlife and want restaurants and bars within walking distance...this place IS FOR YOU!
