Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Escape the crowds to our 7 acre smallholding in beautiful Devon. Vineyard Belle is our classic 5m bell tent (with log burner) tucked in the top corner of our vineyard. Enjoy a wander among the vines, meet the animals and relax with a wonderful view of Dartmoor.
The space
Vineyard Belle is furnished with a sofa, chunky wooden bed (with Emma mattress), log burner for cosy evenings in and two shorty single mattresses for kids. It has decking with a view for outside dining, a firepit area for campfires and converted horsebox which houses the private kitchen and bathroom. The trailer opens at the back to transform your bath into an al fresco bathing experience!
In the evening the area is gently lit with solar festoon lights, enjoy the atmosphere or switch the lights off to make the most of our excellent dark skies which showcase the stars.
It is about 150m from the parking to the pitch but a wheel barrow is provided for transporting bags. The pitch is has solar lighting and a solar USB charger - fridge/freezer space and device charging is available at the farm honesty shop. Our farm shop is stocked with a variety of produce made on the farm and from local partners.
Guest access
This pitch is exclusively yours to enjoy, guests are also welcome to explore the farm although animal enclosures and farm buildings are out of bounds for safety reasons.
Other things to note
Bedding and towels are provided. Toiletries are available to purchase in the farm honesty shop should they be required.
Extra tents for older children are welcome for a small charge of £5 per night per extra tent.
This is an off grid pitch and the toilet is an eco friendly composting loo!
EV's may be charged using our outside socket (don't forget your 3 pin charger).
Guests are welcome bring their own BBQ's we just ask that you us these by the camp fire area away from the decking and tent to reduce fire risk and place these on the fire bricks so as not to scorch the grass.

Neighborhood highlights
We are based in rural Devon surrounded by farmland and stunning countryside. We are gorgeously rural (with a capital R!) and there maybe noise from farm animals, mud on roads and a few potholes about! Be warned that the quiet beauty of this corner Devon may have you wanting to return again and again....

My work: Environment Officer
After nearly 15 years in Derbyshire, family & Devon called. We now live on a pretty smallholding with our 2 children, the dog & an expanding menagerie!
We have a few small scale enterprises. The old vineyard has been restored, we grow salads & greens in the poly tunnel supplying local farm shops & rear free range pigs, chickens & ducks. Sheep appear onsite sporadically when we have spare grazing to rent & the Pygmy goat pair are just a joy!
