Villa Floresta has 1150vrs2 of land, distributed in the Main House, Parking lots, Planters, but the vast majority in the Garden area. When making your reservation you have access to all the amenities of the house, terraces (where you can see hummingbirds), barbecue area, children's games, piñata area, games room, campfire area, and fireplace in the main room. You can enjoy a view of the Tigra Mountain (if there is no fog).
From Villa Floresta you can comfortably walk to the lagoon, which is full of wildlife, with ducks and turtles that stroll quietly among the visitors. Rowboats can be rented there to explore it. And then enjoy the different viewpoints offered by the town, all of which offer a spectacular view of Tegucigalpa, the country's capital. You can't miss visiting several cafes and restaurants to enjoy various typical Honduran dishes. Don't miss a visit to the 16th-century church that retains its original colonial structure, with cobblestone streets and alleys in its surroundings.
Villa Floresta is a cozy house, with ample spaces, safe and clean with fine wood finishes, it consists of 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, fireplace, study, TV room, games room, barbecue area, piñata area, campfire area, swings. Planters and a large patio. A terrace. Covered parking for 7 vehicles. Wheelchair accessible.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, the other bedrooms have a double bed and a sofa bed, so it comfortably accommodates 10 guests. We provide clean sheets, pillowcases for both beds and sofa beds, as well as firewood for the fire pit and fireplace.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary utensils and appliances to cook comfortably.
In the main room you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Montana de la Tigra; it has a large living room set and additional chairs to spend a pleasant moment in front of the fireplace, ideal for the cold weather of Santa Lucia. The dining room, also with a panoramic view, consists of a dining room for 8 people, with 2 additional ones in the breakfast area that connects with the kitchen.
The barbecue area consists of a large charcoal grill with enough lighting for a barbecue at night, a bar with four bar-style benches for eating or drinking. Dining room for 6 people, a sofa and a bench for a pleasant chat. For convenience, there is a kitchenette near the barbecue area. And a half bathroom.
Garden area, with details for flower lovers. It consists of swings for children, a swing for adults, a campfire area with chairs for 6 people.
We have a drinking water cistern and an emergency reserve tank.
Parking area with electric gate with space for 2 vehicles and a second parking area with space for 3 additional vehicles.
All bathrooms have been completely remodeled with wood details, with hot water and two bathtubs,
We provide towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, a bottle of purified water, firewood.
As Saturdays are very much in demand, we require a minimum 2 day stay on the weekends: Friday to Sunday.
Our house is also ideal for those who attend and/or organize a party or wedding in CASABLANCA AND LIQUIDAMBAR, as well as events in Valle de Ángeles. Minimizing the risks of driving at night.
Check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Both are flexible as long as we don't have other guests checking out or checking in. Please contact us to see availability for changing check-in and check-out times.
We are animal lovers and all your pets are welcome. Dogs can stay, but with some requirements: For the safety of passers-by, as well as the pets themselves, we ask that you keep them tied if they are in the front garden, they can be kept free in the back garden area; there are metal doors to confine the back area for this purpose. We ask that you don't leave your pet alone, as being in a strange place away from home can cause unnecessary stress to your pet. We do not allow the dog(s) to sleep on the different furniture both inside and outside the house, as well as the different beds; prior to your arrival we request that you notify us of the entry of your pet(s). We require a payment of $10.00 for each pet to cover the extra cleaning costs.
Although the house is in an isolated environment, we have neighbors and ask you to comply with the rules of social coexistence, with special emphasis on music, which can be played but at appropriate levels that do not disturb the neighbors' peace. We don't allow parties, but we do allow family gatherings during daylight hours.
A few steps from the house is the NINE ELEVEN market, where you can find soft drinks, ice, coffee and groceries in general, and minutes away you will find the LA LAGUNA market with a wider selection of all kinds of groceries. Additionally, some restaurants in the area have delivery service, including La Placita D SUSY.

We are located 25 minutes from Tegucigalpa and 20 minutes from Valle de Ángeles, making us an ideal place to make the most of Tegucigalpa, Santa Lucia, Valle de Ángeles, San Juancito, and Cantarranas.
If you love mountain biking, Santa Lucia is ideal for a tour for any level of experience, as well as ATV and SIDE BY SIDE, with which you can visit El Zamorano and Guinope. If you like hiking, you can take the route of the antennas until you reach Cantagallo.
If you love hummingbirds, bring your camera. Our garden is the year-round home to many, and we have a special feeder for them on our terrace to take a photo near them.
We ask that you DO NOT smoke or vape inside the house. We have many open areas where you can do it. The ashtrays are stored in the kitchen furniture. We ask that you use them to avoid any danger of fire.
The TIGO and CLARO networks work properly. We have high-speed Wi-Fi in most areas of the house.
Our location is accessible for any type of vehicle. In Santa Lucia there is a bus and motorcycle taxi service; however, your visit to the village from our house does not require a vehicle.
Don't you like Tegucigalpa's hot weather? Santa Lucia maintains a temperature of 3 degrees less than Tegucigalpa, with sunrises with mist, and maintains a pleasant climate during the day.
