Other things to note
The Story of the House:
Villa LaRoche is located in an area that was once one of the city’s most vibrant nightlife districts. During the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s, this street was filled with clubs, bars, music and people. Lisbon’s nightlife was the best in Europe back in the 90’s. The building you are staying in was part of that era. A piece of history.
In fact, this house used to be a nightclub, the last one in the area to close, finally shutting its doors in 2010.
Afterwards, the entire building was purchased and carefully transformed into the home you see today. This was not a simple renovation. Turning a former club into a refined, welcoming house with character required an enormous amount of work, vision, passion and investment.
Every element was thoughtfully designed. All furniture, cupboards, doors and finishes were custom-made, and even the wooden floors are the same used in Louis Vuitton stores.
Villa La Roche is not a standard holiday home.
It is a place with history, soul and intention.
We are genuinely happy to share it with you and hope you enjoy every moment here.
