Welcome to Valle Del Sol, a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home nestled in the mountains above Joshua Tree. With expansive views spanning all the way to the National Park, this space has been thoughtfully designed to bring the outdoors in. Centrally located in Joshua Tree, 5 minutes to the downtown shops and restaurants, 10 minutes to the National Park entrance, and walking distance to local hiking trails, our home is an ideal setting to relax and explore the high desert.
The space
Valle Del Sol is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in a quiet residential neighborhood in Joshua Tree. Our home sits on half an acre with expansive views overlooking the desert valley ancient boulder mountains. Our home features a mix of finishes in a southwest modern style designed to highlight the surrounding views and create a tranquil environment to relax and enjoy the surrounding desert scenery.
LIVING
Our home features both indoor and outdoor living spaces that are a perfect to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the park. The two courtyards have 360-degree views spanning all the way to the National Park, with multiple spaces for dining and lounging that are ideal for watching sunrises, sunsets and stargazing. The backyard includes a luxury, large six-person hot tub, as well as an 8-foot cowboy pool perfect to take a dip after a long hike. Both have safety covers and are cleaned Tuesdays and Fridays. The backyard also features a large built-in hammock and propane fire pit, perfect for stargazing or lounging. The front yard also has a horseshoe pit with additional seating. The indoor living space features a large built-in sofa with an electric Malm fireplace for cozy evenings at home. Other amenities include a record player with curated mix of new and vintage records, a 55” smart TV with Netflix and Hulu, multiple games and puzzles, yoga mats, books, and reliable high-speed Wi-Fi with a comfortable workspace. Please note, the fireplace is decorative only and is unable to function for wood-burning fires. The electric log gives off light/sound for ambiance similar to a real fire, but does not give off heat for safety of our little guests.
KITCHEN & DINING
Our home features a newly renovated, fully-stocked kitchen with modern appliances and built-in dishwasher. We provide complimentary medium-dark roast Joshua Tree Coffee, assorted teas, and hot chocolate for our guests to enjoy, as well as a wide range of cookware and cooking essentials such as oil, spices, coffee filters, sugar, and creamer pods. Our home also has both indoor and outdoor dining spaces with amazing views, plenty of seating, and entertaining essentials to enjoy meals at home.
BEDROOMS
Valle del Sol has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom has beautiful views overlooking ancient boulder mountains, as well as a private en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and a walk-in closet. The two guest bedrooms overlook the desert valley, with access to a shared main bathroom with a tub/shower combo down the hall. All bedrooms have queen beds with both firm and plush pillows for guest comfort.
AMENITIES
We offer a range of amenities with guest experience and convenience in mind. For families with small children, we have a pack n play, high chair, children’s utensils, a small basket of toys and board books, and a 3-stage toddler bath and are located a block from Friendly Hills Park, which has a great playground with beautiful views. We are also located a block from the Friendly Hills Hike, a beautiful local hiking trail. We also offer a Level 2 electric vehicle charger in the garage (for Tesla charging, please bring your adapter).

The entire home and 0.5 acre property is yours to enjoy during your stay, with the exception of a few locked cabinets.
Other things to note
Our home is located in a residential area with neighbors in close proximity, and operates under a County of San Bernardino short-term rental license with strict rules regarding noise, occupancy, and parking. Our permit allows a maximum of six registered guests (including small children) and six vehicles onsite at any time. Quiet hours in outdoor spaces are after 9pm. No loud noises (e.g. loud outdoor speakers) at any time. Commercial uses such as events and weddings are prohibited; commercial photoshoots require County permits and may be approved on a case-by-case basis, please contact us to inquire. All vehicles must be parked in the garage or driveway. Our property has an exterior security camera pointed at the driveway and a doorbell camera to ensure these rules are adhered to. All guests must agree to a rental agreement and liability waiver. Per local government rules, this agreement must be signed prior to check-in. Thank you!
Please note, you may not exceed the number of people stated on your reservation confirmation as our nightly rates are based on occupancy. Additional guests can be added to the reservation for a nightly fee of $25 per guest, with approval prior to arrival. These rules apply regardless of whether such persons are staying the night or just visiting.
