Enjoy all this stylish coastal cottage has to offer! This totally renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bath house sleeps 6 comfortably. It is a short walk to the bay and beautiful sunsets.

Only 3 miles to dinner and sunset cocktails at Harpoons on the Bay or several breweries and wineries. 7 miles to the many attractions of Cape May or 9 miles to Wildwood beach. Wherever your adventures take you, you will come home to a pristine, but comfortable, environment. Did we mention no pet fees? Yes, dogs stay free!

The space
Welcome to Vacation Road House! Linens are provided May through September -- breathable microfiber eco-friendly sheets and cotton bath towels. We are dog-friendly and have no pet fees for two dogs of any size!

The cottage was fully renovated in 2022. The kitchen has quartz countertops, and stainless steel refrigerator, range, microwave, and dishwasher. Glasses, dishes, and silverware are provided, as well as ceramic cookware, a coffeemaker and toaster. There is eat-in seating for six in the spacious kitchen as well as a stacked washer and dryer conveniently located in the kitchen's laundry closet.

Both bathrooms are beautifully renovated as well, with attractive finishes including gorgeous tile. Both bathrooms are entered from the hall. One has a low-entry shower (1 and 1/2 inch) and the other a standard size tub with showerhead. The living room and three bedrooms all showcase the original hardwood floors. There are two main bedrooms, each with queen beds, while the third room has a twin bed with pull-out trundle bed to sleep two.

Stay comfortable in any season with an up-to-date HVAC system, natural gas heat, and central air. For your entertainment we have super fast wifi, a wall-mounted TV in the living room with Roku for streaming, and a few card games too.

Our home is dog friendly! The fully-fenced backyard with grass and a shade tree is very popular with families who bring their pups on vacation. We accept two dogs of any size for no fee. Message us if you have a third dog - the one time fee if a third dog is accepted is $100. We supply two stainless steel dog bowls.

The backyard also has an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach. There are a gas grill and grilling utensils for your backyard cookouts. Outdoor seating includes picnic table dining for 6 along with 4 Adirondack chairs. Guests also have use of a market umbrella to shade the picnic table, six beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a cornhole set. All are stored in the guest shed in the backyard.

For check-ins May 1 through Sept. 30, we provide pillows, pillow cases, fitted and flat sheets, as well as a light quilt and warmer comforter for each bed. We provide a bath towel, hand towel, and wash cloth for each guest. Guests are asked to bring their own beach towels.

We supply starter hand soap, dish and dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, and paper towels. Plan to bring your own personal toiletries such as toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the whole house and one of the two sheds. The owner's shed is not accessible. Street parking is available and free.

Other things to note
-Closest bay beach access is at the end of Wildwood Road. Bay beaches are open to the public and free! Leashed dogs welcome on the beach at all hours off season, and before 11 a m. and after 4 p.m. in season (Memorial Day to Labor Day).
- In the guest shed is a small hose that can be attached to the lower spigot in the outdoor shower for dog rinsing, and a small sprinkler attachment for the hose that is fun for kids and dogs!
-Feel free to bring your kayak, paddleboard, or tubes to enjoy the calm waters of the Delaware Bay.
- Bring your fishing rods! Surf fish from the beach or head to Cox Hall Creek Preserve for fresh water.
- Access to Cox Hall Creek Wildlife Management Area located at the east end of Delview Rd.
- Harpoon's on the Bay Restaurant (3 miles south on Beach Drive) has great sunset views and live music.
