Our small, lovingly renovated 56sqm apartment is part of our old brick house (former bakery) located in a beautiful and nature rich corner of the Uckermark. It is an ideal starting point for small day trips - in the immediate vicinity there are several swimming lakes, bicycle and hiking trails, old villages and many other tourist offers. In our village of Flieth there is a small regional shop with organic products from local farmers and a nice pub with a beer garden.

The space
The apartment has its own access from the street side and is shielded from the street with a green park-like strip. In summer and late spring you can enjoy the morning and afternoon/ evening sun in front of the apartment. The apartment itself has been lovingly renovated and has large windows facing the green street. In midsummer it is pleasantly cool due to the many trees. The apartment has a rustic and fully equipped kitchen with a dining table for 4 people. The living room has a warming tiled stove which also gives off heat into the bedroom and the hallway. The rear-facing bedroom is equipped with a 180 x 200 cm bed and two very comfortable mattresses as well as a full-length mirror and chest of drawers. In the bathroom and the kitchen you get wonderful morning sun, perfect for waking up. There is of course WiFi in the whole apartment, which is sufficiently strong for working.

Guest access
The house is divided into two halves, the apartment is in the front area of the house with its own entrance. We are often at the house ourselves and live in the back of the house, which also has a separate entrance on the side of the house. This way everyone has their privacy.

Other things to note
Please bring some house slippers, we have a no street shoes policy.
We also offer a bike rental service for 12 EUR/ day.
1 crate of fire wood is charged at 15 EUR.

Neighborhood highlights

Our house is located in a small village of around 100 souls in the heart of the Uckermark. The village of Flieth is well connected to the A11 (approx. 7 kilometers) and you can get here very easily by public transport. The village is very quiet and charming, there is a beautiful church ruin, an organic regional shop with great products for daily needs as well as fresh bread, etc. There is a nice cafe where you can have breakfast and a good restaurant with beer garden (Kastanienhof). Despite the many offers, which is atypical for such a small village, it is very quiet here - it gets really quiet here in the evening and at night and you can see an incredible number of stars on a clear night, especially when the village lights go out at 10 p.m. In the immediate vicinity there are other beautiful villages such as Fergitz, Pinnow, Gross Fredenwalde and Gerswalde as well as several lakes, beautiful bike and hiking trails through nature reserves and many great viewpoints over the typically hilly Uckermark Ice Age landscape. There is also the possibility of booking a donkey hike in the village. The bus stop that takes you to the train station with a direct connection to Berlin is about 3 minutes' walk away.
