Trevassack House is a large Victorian farmhouse, a 7 minute drive to St Ives Bay & Gwithian's sands, or 4 mins to Hayle beach. Set in tranquil private grounds, the old manor of Trevassack overlooks Hayle.
Big groups love the 6 large bedrooms sleeping 12, comfortable spaces, full kitchen, 3 cosy living rooms with stoves, hot tub (extra cost) with views, library and baby grand piano and conservatory framing sunsets across the St Ives & Carbis Bay hills. For 13-16 guests, the Annexe costs extra.
The space
Trevassack House is a relaxing 'home away from home' experience, with masses of room. Expect comfort, lots of space to play inside and out (well behaved pets on request please), cosy fires, books, games and bags of character.
The main house sleeps 12, in 6 bedrooms, and the Annexe, which is exclusively available for guests at the house, is available for an additional charge (sleeping up to 4 extra guests, making 16 beds in total).
3 living rooms allow different groups to have their own space: TV room with massive sofas to seat everyone; library & piano room for snug, quiet reflection and a second lounge for chilling out. Each has its own wood burning stove.
Bedrooms have plenty of room to spare, useful if you need to setup one of our cots (or bring your own). One bedroom has a four poster bed and others are a combination of kings, doubles and singles (see layout in pictures). In addition to two main bathrooms, two bedrooms also have en-suites with showers.
Originally built as a farmhouse, the kitchen is at the heart of the house, seating 12 people with room to spare. It's fully equipped with a large range cooker, coffee machine and plenty of cooking utensils. Self catering for a large group is easy.
There's underfloor heating throughout the entire downstairs and the main bathrooms, all rooms individually controlled. Each bedroom has individually controllable radiators.
Outside the spacious garden area is elevated above the field.
Trevassack House has plenty of space: it's a place to stay at and enjoy; not just a base from which to visit amazing beaches, countryside and the attraction of West Cornwall.
Additional quiet working spaces and high quality broadband throughout the house means you don't need to worry if your trip spans work time. A generous utility room, with large desk surfaces and monitor is included, if you need to work from home whilst away.
A hot tub (an extra charge) for 4/5 people is perfectly positioned on the patio outside the back door, offering beautiful views across grounds. Available all year round on request, with an additional fee.
There's a BBQ and garden area with a selection of teak and other furniture to seat at least 14 people.
High speed 22Kw Electric vehicle charging is available for guests parked in the courtyard.
The separate annexe (available for an extra fee if you have more than 12 guests need even more room) is in the courtyard, just outside the front door. It has a bedroom sleeping up to 4 people (2 singles, 1 bed with pull-out), plus living room and shower room.
Guest access
The whole house is yours, including the garden with BBQ and plenty of outdoor seating.
All of this is set within about an acre of field that's plenty big enough for outdoor family games, or to exercise a dog (we ask that all mess is cleared please).
There is plenty of private parking around the house and in the courtyard (overflow into the field only if dry).
You have exclusive use of the house and garden, but sometimes may meet our gardeners there, or meet us in the field or walking through the courtyard, to our workshop / home office in the barn, which sits at the bottom of the field.
Please note the additional cost if you'd like to use the Annexe (up to 4 extra guests if you have more than 12 people) and / or Hot Tub. The Annexe and Hot Tub will remain locked and turned off if you do not need them.

Trevassack has more than an acre of grassy land, which is yours to relax and play in.
We accept well behaved pets on request, but they must be kept downstairs and off furniture please.
All sleeping areas must be kept completely pet free and all mess must be cleaned up.
A high speed 22Kw EV Electric Vehicle Charger is available for guest use (via the Voltshare app or web)
In peak season (summer hols and Christmas / New Year) we ask for minimum of 1 weeks, often 2. Check out 10am and check-in is 4pm, which allows our professional cleaners enough time to safely prepare a very large house in limited time.
